Awesome
LOVED IT! i took a party of 24 people. the check was 2k and we ate everything it seemed! the staff was great, service was excellent and the food to die for....the black cod was amazing, normally i hate shrimp BUT the rock shrimp was divine. the spicy tuna and crunchy rice also a thumbs up. i don't think that there was anything that we didn't like! a definite must...definitely a better value than nobu!

We loved it!
Went there for an early dinner on a Friday. The four of us had a fantastic meal. Everything we ate was divine! The crunchy rice/tuna app is a must have. The decor is lush and something to marvel at. Attentive staff. I must've gotten 10 new plates. It was an all around wonderful experience, and the bill didn't totally scare us either.

Great atmosphere
Went to Koi this weekend with a date, and although the atmosphere was great for a date, the food was ok but very overpirced, best thing was the crispy rice with spicy tuna and the rock shrimp tempura handroll, but not worth the 240$ check the waiter brought, ill be sticking to seeing this resteraunt on entourage and not going back

Koi-a-licious
I went to Koi with a few friends for my b-day and I was impressed with the place. The service was great- our server was very attentive. I ordered the cruncy rice with spicy tuna and I LOVED it, can't wait to go back to have it again. Two people ordered the salmon which was also very tasty. Dessert was divine. Overall a good dining experience in a trendy atmosphere. Very sushi samba -ish and hip for midtown. Would recommend.

Overpriced
OK the food here is simply not that good. The chicken was not fresh and the sushi rolls are small! Way over priced. The atmosphere was nice and the service was fine, however it is not a good value for your money.

Cant wait to go back
Fun atmosphere and great food to share w/ friends! The specilaty drinks of different mojitos and martinis were great upon recomendation of waitress. We loved the tuna on crispy rice appetizer. I took out of town clients there and was a perfect choice again!

Unfair Service Attacks
I went to Koi with trepidation about the service based upon the numerous complaints listed on this website. I must say, that while the food was very good, the service was outstanding. We were served immediately, and given constant attention throughout the evening. At one point, we spilled a bottle of water, and within seconds a team of three busboys had arrived at our table and clearned the whole thing up. Our waiter was helpful in his suggestions, came by repeatedly to see how we were doing, and even came by after our dessert sampler had arrived to explain each item and what it contained. Perhaps the restaurant has taken some of these earlier criticisms to heart, and focused on improving the service. If so, it's worked.
