I went with a group of people and they never told us that each head has to spend $20 or more before we were seated. They only did so after we were seated, and they used the inexperience hostess as an excuse. For all I know, everyone who works there should know the rules/policies about the restaurant and should be informative at all times. The communication was lacking and they were very much like that throughout our stay there. The food was okay but I've had better in other Thai restaurants. Honestly, people should try other places for thai. Furthermore, I suggest you bring a flashlight or flash out your cell phones because it is very DIM in the restaurant.

Drinks were all resonably priced. walked in about 2 min before bar was closing and staff was still very courteous. could have been because we ordered so many drinks. if you like sweet drinks, key lime martini is pretty good. ruby siam for a bit of a kick. will try the food next time. very much a college scene

Went here last week for the first time with some friends from out of town. We were all pleasantly surprised with the service, food and mostly the value of Klong. There are quite a few Thai restaurants in the neighborhood where you will pay more for a considerably less satisfying meal. The Pad Kee Mao was very spicy and delicious - as it should be! I would definitely come back.

The pomegranate martini was fantastic. i loved the massaman curry, and my date loved the klong pad thai!

I've been to Klong a number of times, and every time I leave with a smile on my face & my hunger satisfied. They have large portions so sharing appetizers is a definite 'do' (if you like spring rolls & dumpling, the golden fritters are awesome). You can't complain about their happy hour during the week... the Red Siam Martini is very yummy. I found the Larb salad a little funky, but don't hesitate, be adventurous, and try something new on the menu! I highly recommend making reservations during the weekend as it gets pretty crowded. Definitely a Klong fanatic :o)

Exotic selection of dishes and lovely atmosphere. the waitresses are friendly and the drinks are out of this world. go during happy hour though, they're kind of steep. oh and vegetarians beware; all of their "veg" dishes are cooked with fish sauce.
