Great Place but expect to wait

The food here is great-very fresh and flavorful. Expect to wait for your table. Everytime I have been here I have been seated 30-45 minutes later than my reservation time. Have a specialty cocktail while you wait!

    Don't go for the food

So this is a very beautiful space- they did a great job w/ it. The food was just ok and way overpriced for what you got. I went here when it first opened and was a lot happier w/ the food then, feel like it's gone downhill. I think this is better as a drinks and maybe appetizer place- the food is just not really all that- esp. when there are amazing Thai choices for half the price in the city

    Not all hype

I've always been a huge skeptic of ultra-swank restaurants especially with all the new mod Asain ones that seem to pop up everywhere. I took a chance and went last Monday b/c I couldn't get a Saturday reservation and found myself totally wowed. The space was gorgeous, the service was friendly and attentive, the somallier took care of us and had a list that was surprisingly fair and the food was well worth it. The crispy whole fish was unique and the short ribs were even better. The fried rice could use a little work though. I'll make it a point to try it out on a busier night to see what its all really about.

    Overratted

I used to enjoy going to Kittchai; however, the last few times I have gone there have been disappointments. First of all –both times we had to wait to be seated and the hostess was not hospitable to our party. The food was not as great as I remembered it to be…it is not worth the mediocre food and long wait.

    Sunday Brunch, slow service

Haven't been here during regular dinner time, but Sunday Brunch was somewhat of a bad idea. I ordered the prix-fixe brunch and it took 3 hours to complete the meal. Completely ridiculous. The waiters left food at our table long after finishing the dishes, and they had no idea who ordered what when the food finally came out. At least its like a cool (super trendy) place.

Trendy, good fusion food, good service.

I will get straight to the point, this is not a pompous, three star michelin, wait three months for a reservation joint. You get what you pay for and you are going to get more than enough here. The scene is trendy, the noise is loud and the food no doubt is nice, palatable and enough. The service is really good to boot. Do not go for a romantic dinner, do go if you have a couple of friends and want to enjoy the scene as well as the food. Highly recommend this place. The food is expensive though.

    Gorgeous Restaurant with Delicious Food!

As soon as we got to the restaurant, we knew we were in for a treat. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The food was so good. I recommend the fish cakes, beef salad, sizzling beef with honey, and duck breast. They all tasted fantastic. Make sure you bring your wallet though as it is expensive. But it's worth every penny! We'll go back.
