Poor service
I have never in my life have been treated with such a disrespect. The hostess was rude obnoxious & act liked she own the place. I have eaten there before but after the experience I went thru I wont be back. The best thing about ny & being in a recession my money is welcome in other places with better service.

An upscale Thai in SoHo
A surprise discovery -- brunch with unlimited leechi bellini for two hours was an incredible bargain --otherwise cocktails alone would be quite pricey . A wonderful place that affords relative privacy even for small groups ... very nice and accommodating staff ... no one tried to rush us out even though our group lingered longer than expected because of late arrivals. Highly recommended.

okay food. pricy. good environment.
this is one of those restaurants where everything is fancy, business people would go here and have their talks or such. the food? isnt exactly the best i ever had in terms of thai food. i think i had better. but the presentation of food makes it look very delish and 'expensive' and yes, food is a bit on pricey side. a bad experience that i had was during their lunch time, i came here and got their lunch specials. which was just 25 bucks for entree app and dessert. the appetizer came almost a sec later, the soup was cold, everything looked like it had been sitting in the kitchen for ages waiting for someone to order them. the entree was spicy enough that it numbs the other flavors. would not go back again. but hey, it is a good date spot :)

Don't bother
I have been to Thailand numerous times and this restaurant has no relation to thai food that i can see or taste. very greasy and really not worth the price.

The rib is pure fat!
I just visited the place last night. Their appetizers are very good. The service and atmosphere is nice, too. But, that's all the good things I could say about Kittichai. The duck entree and the rib were inedible. The duck was way over cooked and turned into rubber duck (it's suppose to be medium rare), and the rib was pure fat. Not perfect, PURE FAT! Next time, I'll just order a bunch of appetizers instead, but maybe there is no next time.

I loved it!
I went here on 30% off through VillageVines.com and absolutely loved it. I liked it so much that I went back full price. The food was delicious and there were plenty of servers being attentive to our table that we never went without a drink. I highly recommend this spot! We did a tasting menu to see all that the chef had to offer. I could see if I didn't do tasting menu having a different experience, but I loved getting a small taste of everything... A++
