Just get lemonade-seriously
The cupcake and pastries are very waxy taste not to mention dry. Very pricy for the amount of food you don't get. We went because my daughter loves pink lemonade. Service started with a smile but as soon as we got our food, we were ignored. Crab cake- super small-size of a 1/2 dollar and shells in every bite! So so kids menu. This place needs work.

Good Ol Reliable!
We live in the neighborhood and always know where to find a great meal and a smiling face. The baked goods are to die for and they deliver! We love coming to Kitchenette and so do our kids!

Dissapointing Dinner
Kitchenette in the downtown wall street area of NYC is cute little homey diner with a country feel. The dinner menu though is disappointingly limited and the food is a bit pricey for the amount and quality you get. I found nothing partially unique about the food, in fact there are plenty of other diners out there with better tasting food. The service was also awful slow and not particularly friendly. I wouldn't recommend this place for dinner. The lunch menu looks a bit more interesting but I don't think I'll be going back to this place.

Comfort Food Standby
Great for delivery, or good service and atmosphere. Be sure to check out the fresh cakes and sweets in the counter. Fried Chicken and Turkey Meatloaf to die for. Veggie Burger a little dry, don't forget the tahini.

Pricey for these portions
I got some delicious chicken salad here but it was 9.50 for not much more than a scoop, yikes. The red velvet cupcakes were okay. Pricey, too, and I have had better. So, just okay. Not a must-go kind of place by any means.

Terrible counter service
After enjoying brunch at Kitchenette this past weekend, I stopped at the counter only to be treated terribly by a middle aged woman (who appeared to be the owner) while trying to purchase baked goods. Out of nowhere, she became hostile and unwelcoming. She took my money before I could count the appropriate change and sighed constantly. Because of her, I will never return.

A diner that filled our hearts too!
Kitchenette is a very warm place, with a warm atmosphere with nice little touches we all loved during our stay in NYC. We spent a week there and ate at Kitchenette for five times, always at breakfast. We were served by two different waiters, a man and a woman, who soon became very friendly and helpful, as if we were long-time customers. Pancakes were delicious, much better than next door Gee Whee's, French Toast were very good too and Biscuits were large and warm. Everyday had to start at kitchenette: we miss itso much now!
