expensive, even for tribeca
when 2 pieces of french toast runs you $15 including tip and taxes... you start wondering.... isn't french toast bread dipped in egg, and then griddled? you could make french toast with a side of scrambled eggs every day for a month for the same price.... prices are no less then double what they were when they first opened... and no where near as good....

prego wife shoves her pie hole
My prego wife loves this place for breakfast to stuff her pie hole with the b-fast burrito. But as a health conscious eater I am not as enthusiastic. I typically opt for the "kitchenless" (egg whites, turkey, tomato on biscuit). Sure beats a Egg-McMuffin. I think lunch and dinner has better options. Homeade biscuits are more floury than corny but light nontheless. Waitstaff are great. Beware of large families toting crying babies and SUV-like strollers navigating a tight space. As for the baked goods, the LEMON Meringue pie will induce an orgasm. the meringue is so light and sweet. the best i've ever eat

where's my avocado?!
They delivered my salad all rustled and tossed around in the box. Didnt look like a cobb salad....or maybe a cobb salad that had been sloshed in a delivery carton and then thrown in a spin cycle. And then, I discovered they'd forgotten my avocado! Redemption points for delivering an apology and some avocado. Bacon buttermilk dressing was tasty. Delivery guy was also very nice.

Best Brunch We Had in a Long Time
I had the "Albuquerque" - scrambled eggs, pepper jack cheese, spicy salsa over polenta with refried beans - ate every bite. He got a Tukey Sandwich on challah then had second thoughts in favor of granola, but ended up really enoying the sandwich. We got sugar cookies to go for desert.

Stick with delivery
pretty good comfort food. turkey meatloaf rocks. biscuits terrific when they´re fresh, but when they´re old, the wax coating they leave on the inside of your mouth is just unhealthy. biggest problem is the service, which even during off-peak hours, is pretty wanting. we could do without one waiter in particular one of those short angry, struggling actor types whose `thank you´s´ and ´how are we today´s´ drip with sarcasm and ooze overall self discontent, and who always seems to be working our table when we´re there probably costs the place 2 points in service. the others are hardly smiley or attentive either (not sure where the service with a smile comments are coming from they clearly have the wrong restaurant).
