Definetly not indian!
We ordered the food... Bread was not cooked correctly... Dal was very liquid...probably they need to understand how Dal is cooked. When we called to complain..the person taking the order was very rude.. and says "He Does not want our business" good luck... if this is the way you are going to serve your customers.... Good Luck!

Can't be Indian
The food seems Indian, but cooked from a recipe book or something, like they are mixing precooked stuff & serving it. Worst value for money

Consistently Good.
This is my go to place when friend's join me for lunch. The lunch special is around $9 for a salad, lunch portion entree (anything off the menu), rice and nan. I love the chicken korma! The service is attentive, but not overwhelming. The atmosphere is a tad tacky, but otherwise it's good and dependable.

Best indian food in Hell's kitchen!
One of my favorite places to eat in this neighborhood, I usually go there at least once or twice a week. Often I take people who are new to Indian food there because they won't make the food too spicy unless you ask for it (or if you order chicken vindaloo) If you ask for anything spicy they will gladly oblige, but be sure to have a mango lassi to help ya wash it down. Naan, especially the garlic naan, which I'd never had before, is fantastic. Lunch special is unbeatable at the price. I almost always order the Chicken Tikka Saagwala, the spinach is always fresh and delicious and the chicken just right. Servers are always friendly and I like the Indian music videos they play too.

Passable
This place is empty pretty much any time I walk by (including weekends). I convinced my girlfriend to try it today, though, and was surprised. It's nothing special (there are definitely better Indian restaurants in the city), although the naan was above average. A montage of Bollywood dance scenes played throughout the meal and was pretty distracting, but overall it's a very passable place. Why is it empty so often? All I can think is that they must deliver a lot, because I don't otherwise see how they make any money.

Very mediocre
For appetizers, we got the vegetable pakora which was greasy and tasteless. They were just random pieces of vegetables like eggplant that were deep-fried. I also ordered the chicken korma which was quite bland. The coconut naan was good though and the service was friendly.

I usually dont even like indian food but my friend lived close by so we came here. I LOVED the food! the coconut naan was out of this world and that red chicken dish rocked.
