I like the food here without exception and the lunch special for $5 for the same portions as dinner at $9 is a great deal. You cannot take away the lunch special unfortunately. I would eat here more often, but the atmosphere and staff demeanor are depressing. I ordered delivery but again that's the $9 per plate deal. So can't always have everything.....

When my family and I entered the restaurant, the waiters stared at us as if we we stranger that walked into their living room. The service was pretty bad. Very unfriendly and never asked during the meal if we needed anything, my sister had to flag the man down. I ordered the Shrimp Curry. The curry itself was really delicious, but the shrimp was overcooked with a tough rubber texture and the pool of oil resting on top of the plate wasn't necessary. I would recommend that you go somewhere else.

If you can search reviews by username, you'll see I can be critical but fair. This was disgusting food of any type. My pakora was awful and inedible, random limp vegetable pieces with weird thick batter found at the worst nyc street fair, no industrial type raita could save them. My Chx Curry was opened to find a thick oil sludge heaped over over dry and chewy chicken. It was really really disappointing. save your money and stomach from misery.

I only get delivery from this place and I truly think it's the way to go. It's way cheaper than dining in and the service is perfect (fast delivery). I love the aloo papri appetizer and the paneer burjee makes me happy! Only problem I've ever encountered was a mango lassi that was definitely off.

The $12 takeout special here is a phenomenal deal, and a tremendous amount of food, easily enough for 2 people. The tikka masala was among the best I've ever had, and you could actually taste the smoky char. Haven't eaten in the restaurant, but this is definitely the best Indian food in the neighborhood, at least for takeout.

I've gotten takeout from here before and it's been delicious in the past, but my latest experience was disappointing. My Chicken Makhani came with a 1" layer of oil on top (I understand there's oil in it but it should not have separated to that degree in the 10 minutes it took to deliver it to me), the naan was mangled and half of the chicken was grizzle. I will think twice before ordering from here again.

I've gotten delivery from Kinara's on multiple occasions, and been very happy. A great deal: $12 for a very full meal. The portions are generous, you get raita, naan, dessert, aptz, and an entree. It's always fresh, fast, and delicious. Tonight, I thought I would dine-in for a change. I was sorry to find that i wasn't as satisfied. The portions were tiny and it wasn't as good a value. For the same price of feeding two people dining in, I could have ordered three meals. I was extremely disappointed in the amount of food I was given. Next time, I'm calling in for delivery. Oh, and the service was very poor.
