    Tasty take-out

The take out from here is great. The miso soup is only a dollar fifty and the container very large. The sushi is always tasty and they deliver quickly.

    Yummy food, reasonable price

The sushi and rolls were yummy and fresh. The price was reasonable - I spent less than $20 and left stuffed. The waitstaff was very attentive and the food came out fairly quickly. I would definately go back.

    Don't Miss This

Kiku is very hard to spot if you're just walking by, its on the second floor of a salon, but don't miss this place. The food is excellent. ALL the sushi / fish is delicious and fresh (you must try the tuna tartar - mmmmm). The prices are extremely reasonable and the portions are great. Though it's a small place and the sevice is just a little slow (they always seem busy, a lot of delivery / pick up orders) I don't mind the wait. Its hard to find QUALITY sushi (I can't stress that enough) at a great price in NYC so I definitely go there often and would recommend it to anyone looking for a "low-key" place to get your moneys worth of Japanese food.

    Best Sushi and Inexpensive

Absolutely a fantastic place. Tried their fish dishes as well as non-fish dishes, both of them amazing and fresh. Add on top of that is the price. If you are looking for great food at reasonable price, this is the place to be.

    Fabulous Sushi

What a great place!! Not much in the way of decor, but lovely service, friendly sushi chefs who were happy to display their wares and wonderful, inventive rolls. Very fresh, some of the best sushi I've ever had. This place is a keeper. And the cooked food (according to my husband, the non-sushi eater) was terrific

    Delicious and Inexpensive

The fish is so fresh, the rolls are so tasty. I live right around the corner and eat there at least once a week, and have never had a bad piece of sushi. The returant itself doesn't have much ambience and next to no decor, but it's DELICIOUS and the service is excellent. For the area, the prices are practically dirt cheap. I wouldn't recommend the hibatchi though, as I wasn't impressed. But again, you'll only find better sushi at Nobu, or a place of that caliber (and that expense).

    Great food, reasonably priced

Had dinner there last night and was very pleasantly surprised by this friendly, unpretentious restaurant. The fish was very fresh and tasty as were the sides and cooked food. The sake was particularly mellow. I found this restaurant on this site by searching cuisine and location (we were going to City Center which is one block away) and taking a chance. It is one flight up in a walkup so it's not wheelchair accessible.
