    Great katsudon, poor service

I order from Kikku via Seamless web pretty frequently. I always do pick-up as my office is just next door and I enjoy the quick dash outside. I've only ever ordered the katsudon. It's great! A good value compared to other midtown hotspots, too. The rest of the experience is subpar. The staff is rude, the dining room (if you can call it that) is small and grungy. I wouldn't ever dine in. And I probably wouldn't try the sushi. So if you're just ordering a quick hot meal to go, that's cool. Not sure I'd go beyond that.

    Not recommended

When I first got there, there was a strong odor by the door. I immediately thought to myself we should go to another place. But my co-worker insisted their food was delicious, so we stayed for lunch. When the food arrived, I was totally disappointed. The salad was warm, the fish was not fresh, the salmon was over-cooked. Will never go back.

    Great nondescript Midtown Sushi

Kikku serves fresh, delicious sushi for a good price. The digs are nondescript, on the second floor and small; but it is clean and cozy -- though definitely not fancy. Service is courteous, quick and understated -- exactly what you'd expect from a proper Sushi joint. Prices are good for what you get. It's not Nobu, but for a solid neighborhood sushi at a reasonable price, you don't get much better than Kikku.

    Flavorless and soggy

My delivered meal was disappointing. Everything was soggy and mushy... from the edamame to the "crunchy" roll. Unless I used soy sauce (which I do not usually eat due to sodium) there was zero flavor. Maybe eating in the restaurant would be better but I do NOT recommend ordering for delivery.

    Will come back!

Went here the other day and was very impressed. Big portions, fresh food and great service! Our waiter recommended some great dishes and the best TyKu sake! I feel at home when i'm eating here

    Good Value for Midtown

In the search for a good midtown sushi place I used the positive reviews from menupages and went for take out, the lady was very nice who took my order, she recommended me that I order an order of sweet shrimp sushi for they had just gotten a delivery of it a few hours ago. So I ordered that, amazing! 4 pieces tuna and 4 piece eel, both were huge and fresh pieces of fish, rise was moist and soft. I also ordered the 3 pack of spicy tuna roll, they were big fresh and filling. look, its no nobu 57, but it is going to become my regular sushi place for now!

    Starving

The food is great value. It is priced reasonably and tastes great. However, the delivery service always takes 1+ hour to arrive. So, order early! Too bad that I always decide to order at around 12.30 and the food takes forever to get here. Like today... I'm terribly starving now!!
