Does not feel the fish
Spicy Tuna Roll at Kiku Restaurant is quite tempting, but when eaten, does not feel the fish, just too much spicy and tempura flakes.

best sushi delivery in chelsea
This sushi place in the best sushi for delivery you will find. I have ordered from here more than 15 times and every time it has been great. The miso soup is great, so are the rolls and the gyoza. The prices are also way better than anything else for the quality of food you're getting. They also have great lunch specials.

This place has gone downhill...
When this place first opened a few years ago the sushi was fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, the last couple times I've ordered from there have been marginal at best. The spicy tuna roll... I swear they take the tuna that is just on the brink of turning and use that for this roll hoping the spicy sauce will make up for it. Ugh!

There are better places than this
The food was ok nothing special. What bothered me more was the service where the waitresses didn't seem like they wanted to work there. They weren't that friendly so I don't think I will be coming back to a place where I don't feel comfortable in.

Good food
I went in for lunch and had a Bento box. Miso was very good as was everything else. I had tried to have food delivered a few days earlier but the food never arrived.

lunch specials hooray
kiku shushi has really good lunch specials, and the sushi is actually pretty damn good. I've eaten their sushi at least 4 times, always take out, and it's just really filling, and you don't feel like you just ate a jar of MSG, which is the feeling I get when I eat at non japanese run sushi places. I am very picky about where I eat sushi, and I generally don't eat at chinese sushi places that act as japanese restaurants. I recommend kiku sushi. they are fast, sometimes the internet orders don't go through, but they keep you warm with a nice cup of yummy green tea. and they are very very nice and friendly.
