Impressive
This is a wonderful restaurant. Everything we had was excellent. We literally devoured everything, including a terrific desert. Aesthetically, the place is very cute, simple and pleasant. We sat outside in the garden and it was sweet and peaceful. The service was also great. A young staff who seem to really be having fun. They were helpful, friendly and engaging. There was really very little to complain about. If I had to criticize one thing, it's that they don't serve bread. We ordered the Hummos, which came in a sizable bowl, but with only 1 slice of pita quartered. When we finished with the pita, we barely got through a third of the hummos. We asked for more pita and they brought us another quartered slice, but charged us for it. Bread should definitely be complimentary, especially if you're ordering pita. But that's a small complaint when everything else was so on point. I am definitely going to be returning and will highly recommend this to others.

Decent Food; Not a Great Value
The falafel appetizer was unimpressive. The falafel truck on 6th Ave offers far better falafel. The couscous dishes were tasty. The vegetables in them were nice, the lamb sausage was tangy, the serving dishes were authentic Moroccan. Portion sizes are on the small side, though. Also, the fact that they don't serve bread or pita with dinner is bizarre. Pita is offered as an appetizer option. In NYC, London, LA and elsewhere, Moroccan and Middle Eastern type joints always serve pita with dinner. Anyhow, I walked out hungry. Service was very attentive. The vibe is good; the decor has an appealing Moroccan shabby chic undertone. Pity that it is not a better value.

Best in the neighborhood
I grew up in Brooklyn near fort greene, and my dad is a chef. I never really found myself eating in the area, always went to the city because the quality of restaurants simply was not up to par. Then Kif opened up and i finally had a reason to stick around the old hood. Wonderful in every way, except the service goes through big ups and downs

Great Food but ruined experience
Went to this restaurant on valentine's day. I had the pan seared chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables. My honey had the skirt steak with avocados and french fries. While the meal was delicious it was instantly ruined when the waitress complained about her tip. She asked was there something wrong with the service since we gave a 10% tip instead of 15% which was a $3 difference. I thought this was very unprofessional and we were sitting within earshot of other customers. How embarrassing!

Good Moroccan Food
The garden is absolutely beautiful and is very relaxing. The pork chops is a must, as well as the salmon. The desert was great as well. Overall the food was filling and healthy.

Very Pleasant
The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We shared several appetizers for a casual lunch. The garden is a wonderful spot to hang out and enjoy a relaxed meal.

Amazing
The food at Kif is amazing but the service is even better. My boyfriend and I ate here this evening and the staff was so attentive. The owner came over to the table several times to ask how everything was and the waitresses were fabulous!
