Dayummm!
This place is really really nice! Food is excellent & the staff is friendly. Music is NOT too loud as some people stated in their reviews (Boy! what's happening to NY....too many yuppies now...) Keep up the good work guys! We love you in the Heights!

best sushi in the area, hands down
I have eaten at Ki Sushi three times and it never disappoints. The food is wonderful, reasonably priced, and always fresh. The place is generally bustling, but I've never waited long for a table. I highly, highly recommend the Ki Roll and the seared duck appetizer. The atmosphere is modern and dimly-lit, so it's a good choice for a date, but casual enough for everyday. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens area!

delightful!
everything i've ever had here has been truly outstanding - including but not limited to the warm mushroom salad, the angel roll and the fish cakes. the service is wonderful - even the sushi chefs are super friendly. there is no downside.

Outstanding Japanese Cuisine and service
My family and I decided to try out Ki Sushi on the weekend and we loved it. We were all very surprised by the quality of the ingredients and the service. The sashimi and sushi rolls is the best we had so far, and their appetizer, such as the tuna lobster salad, is also very note worthy . The service is outstanding and the chefs were also very friendly, greeting us on our way in and out. The atmosphere is very comfortable for a dinner setting and the music is not the worst i heard. Ki seems to be very busy on the weekend, the tables were all packed and groups of people were waiting for tables, so the noise level is rather acceptable for such a busy place. 5 stars and i would give it another if they give out free sushi for big families, just a thought:).

best sushi, but too loud!
Some of the best sushi around. The fish is fresh and the specials rolls and apetizers are superb. But I agree with another reviewer -- the noise level is a huge problem. For me, subtle Japanese food and a loud, thumping (the music they play is terrible) club atmosphere don't mix well. But the food is good enough to keep me coming back...just on the off nights, tho.

Pump Up Da Volume!
Love the food at Ki. Fresh, flavorful, right accents, good portions (except the baked cod which is measly). Big drawback recently is the noise level. Or maybe it's just the weekend crowd? Seems to be a bar scene and management encourages the party atmosphere with pounding vibes. Strange selection of music for the setting. Not even remotely relaxing if you're for a peaceful meal. My dining companion and I couldn't even hear eachother from across the table. Unfortunately the noise completely undermines what would be an otherwise pleasurable meal.

always the best!
I have tried many sushi places, both in brooklyn and manhattan, and ki is always the best! the sushi is always very fresh, the menu inventive, and the service flawless. the atmosphere is great, and the delivery is speedy as well. while it's slightly more expensive than other local places, you really do get what you pay for
