One of the best
This is some of the best sushi I have eaten ANYWHERE in NYC for the price. I live a few blocks away and have been here several times and also got delivery half a dozen times and it's always delicious, with a decent variety as well, btw. I think we had one somewhat unattentive waitress one time, but other than that I've been recommending this place left and right to friends.

Downhill
I used to like Ki a lot but I went there a few weeks ago and it was borderline inedible. I'm not a sushi snob and am pretty easy to please but after a few pieces of the two rolls I ordered, I had to stop. I wonder what happened? Won't go back for a long time.

good .. but inconsistent
sometimes the cuts are too big. over all, very fresh and a great value.

Never again....
As a sushi enthusiast, I know good sushi. I went over there with some expectations and I was very dissapointed. The fish wasn't fresh at all, and even had a weird taste to it. The soup was served cold, and when I asked the waiter nicely..he didn't understand and walked away.

Hands down the best Sushi in NY
After trying most of NY's finest Sushi (Nobu, Tomoe, Sushi Seki) this one is my favorite. They have the best spicy lobster appetizer and rolls. It is reasonably priced and the atmosphere is fun. I often come here with friends or my boyfriend.

Fresh Sushi - But Big Sushi
Went to Ki Sushi tonight based upon it's Zagat rating and reviews on the web. Not denying that the fish is super fresh, but the sushi and sashimi cuts were way too big. Sushi / Sashimi should be of the less is more philosophy. A super sized, steak like, chunk of o-toro or amberjack is a put off, not a bonus. It seems to be more of a "rolls" restaurant, than a sushi / sashimi restaurant. If they could just get the cuts down, this place would be the bang for the buck. The service is close to impeccable, the decor is to par and is above and beyond cleanliness.
