great value for the money
The food is always fresh and amazing, delivery arrives quickly, and it's very reasonable priced. Perfect Thai food.

BEST THAI IN WILLIAMSBURG
The best of the millions of Thai joints in Thai town and I've been in this nabe for 15 years. Cheap , delicious, consistent. The decor on the other hand has changed over so many times and finally FINALLY settled in thank god- Now the whole thing is cozy colorful authentic thai family style- the perfect pitch. The new bar I think is weird a little, but well designed- I guess people like to drink anywhere. It's overall super cute in there and nighttime the lighting is extra romantic. So so glad they are in the hood. And SO MANY veggie options. yummmm. 5 stars.

Lunch Delivery To Be Avoided
I often order from Khao Sarn late at night and find it palatable (if a bit bland), but I just tried their lunch delivery for the first time and discovered it was inedible. Everything was overcooked, gummy, and oversauced. Please avoid if you want to keep your hard-earned money for something you won't have to throw uneaten into the trash. Something is going on there during the daylight hours that needs to be fixed.

you people are crazy
I love Thai food and I've eaten at nearly every Thai restaurant I could find in New York - fancy and not-so-fancy. Thai food is not hard to make. I cook it all winter-long. I've been to Thailand and had, of course, the best Thai food ever there. The problem with good Thai food in the states is ingredients, creativity, and presentation. This restaurant is good in only one out of three of those categories. I liked the eggplant in the curry and the carrot flowers, but the rice was mushy - unforgivable - and the curry was lacking any real seasoning... I could taste the fish sauce and basil, but not much else. The restaurant itself was nothing exciting to look at and the plating was ho-hum. This place is fine in a pinch, but not good enough to be among the top rated in this neighborhood. Sorry.

lovely and yummy
This is such a lovely neighborhood place. The food is great and the staff is so sweet! Veggie duck is awesome and I love the curries. They've recently fixed up the decor, too.

It's good give it a go
Ate there once, picked up food twice and had it delivered several times- it's good (a function of increasing laziness and not of aversion to the restuarant). I recommend the vegetarian duck selection with their noodle dishes- major yum.
