Hot soggy mess
Completely underwhelmed. Although the outer crust was great-- it didn't have the gravitas to hold the weight of the toppings. The pizza sort of collapsed into the middle in one hot soggy mess. The rustica salad was also over dressed. Two pizzas, salad and two glasses of wine totaled $78 with tip and tax. Not worth it in my opinion.

Soggy Pizza
I had been wanting to try out Keste for a while. But last night's pizza was a big disappointment. We ordered the rustica salad (mixed greens, marinated artichokes, olives and prosciutto), the ortolano (artichokes, mozzarella, mushrooms) and the sausage/broccoli rabe pizzas. Everything from the salad to the pizzas was soggy. While the burnt, light dough was delicious-- with the toppings, the middle became a soggy mess. Nothing rememorable and nothing spectacular. The bill came to $76 (with two glasses of wine, tip and tax). Was it worth it? Definitely not. In the end, I think Co. does neopolitan pizzas better.

A big YES
Definitely the best Italian pizza I had in manhattan in the last two years. It really is Italian style pizza, thick, a little burned and a little crusty on the edges and thin but not crusty in the middle. Good tomato sauce, more than decent mozzarella and great toppings. Don't listen please to those who says real pizza should be dry. Real pizza is made with real mozzarella, and real mozzarella is never dry. And please do not put real mozzarella in a fridge to dry.. Any Italian could have a heart attack by seeing it.. ;-)

Hands Down
The best pizza in the city. If you want a real Neapolitan style pizza, go here. This is worth the wait.

Worth the wait, at least once!
I must've passed this place hundreds of times wanting to try it but was turned off by the long line. Last night I decided to suck it up and see what it's all about. I had the Funghi Pizza and man it was unbelievable. When I'm craving fresh, perfectly cooked ingredients blended together on a pizza I know where I'm going. Yes the space is tight but get over it, it's a pizza place in NYC! Not a place for a date or group but it's great food. The staff was incredibly accommodating and a pleasure to hear from. Highly recommended!

second best pizza in nyc
One of the best Neapolitan pizza in NYC. Pizzas are definitely good, but sometimes they come a little too soggy in the middle... which speaks for the philosophy behind this place - to pack as many people as possible in a tiny place and make as many pizzas as possible - fast. Pizza wouldn't get soggy if you leave the fresh mozzarella to dry up in the fridge for half a day - as they do in Naples, where pizza is thin, no big crusts and humid but not soggy in the center. Besides that, it's a very good pizza, anyways.

Great Neopolitan Style Pizza!
This tiny space cooks up some delicious pies. Ordered the Margharita and tasted the four cheese and loaded special. The Margharita was hands down the winner with the freshest simple ingrediants in every bite. Yum! With regards to OP comments here, never once did we feel rushed or the waiter say anything to allude to giving up our seats for diners waiting in line.
