A Diamond in the Rough with Pinache
We made reservations the other evening for a 2 for 1 restaurant week special.Eventhough it was somewhat off the beaten path;we were able to get there on time The outside structure seemed quite rustic and the inside was scantiily simplistic but homey. Kennythe proprietor was as rustic as his establishment but cordial and accommodating..What he lacked in ambience was exceeded by his delectable menu of diverse pizzas, salads and desserts.Kenny even accommodated me with a scoop of his homemade ice-cream to go with my light fluffy chocolate cake as an added treat. Our palates will definitely find our way back sooner than later; hopefully when we can take advantage of his outdoor dining

Favorite Spot
My girlfriend and I live across the street and love having this wonderful gem so close to us. It's on a random block, so it's never crowded...which is nice, though I would love to see them get more business. The food is amazing and it's a really pleasant atmosphere; we usually eat in the garden out back, but tonight we sat inside. Loved the music...old timey standards, like Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, etc. They still had the pumpkin ravioli, which is absolutely delicious...you must try it! The pastas are uniformly delicious and the house wine is surprisingly good. Can't stress enough how nice it is to have this place so close...anyone who lives in the area should check it out! Also, the owner is super nice and has been cooking in the neighborhood for years and years. Great spot all around...worth a visit, for sure!

Sweet spot
Walked by it one day and wondered what this place was doing off the beaten path. Went back with friends and loved it. House made pastas and pizza were excellent. So glad I walked by or never would have know about. Definitely a place I would take my Italian grandmother and that's saying a lot. It hit the sweet spot.

Best Pizza in Town
I never write reviews for anything, but I have to support this place. The food is excellent- by far the best pizza in town. The prices are very reasonable too. The inside eating area is small, but the back patio is very charming. Definitely check it out.

A find
Kenny's is that classic neighborhood hole in the wall place with no pretension, just great food for a very reasonable price. A great find!

Best around hands down. Don't wait. Go now.
Kenny's is the best brick oven pizza around. His homemade pasta is amazing. He is a great host as well. He will tell you anything you want to know about whats on the menu and make you feel like you are at home. I went today and had the Gemelli with bolognese and the mushroom and truffle oil pizza and a couple glasses of wine. Everything was fresh and our waitress was sweet. I really can't say anything bad about Kenny's. If you try it you will surely have a new restaurant to add to your favorites list. No one in the neighborhood makes fresh past like this. Try it or you're seriously slippin'.

go out of your way
generally pretty light, but always delicious. the pasta is home made and the entire meal is cooked to order. most entrees are fresh and cost about $12. The location isn't on any major walkways, so it's usually pretty easy to get a seat. i've been a few times and it's always fantastic. for moderately priced home made pasta, cant be beat in this neighborhood.
