Chicken Good
Good fried chicken.

Timing is everything
I think Kennedy's biggest flaw is that their menu is far too large. If they concentrated on the basics instead of expanding to seafood, gyro and ice cream/pie, the staples of the place would be in better shape. Go here for the chicken and the fries. The pizza isn't bad, either. However, late night down-time will only get you the old heat-lamp buffet. They're running a business, and the bang for the buck is impressive. I always try to go when they're making new batches, much as one would go to a Krispy Kreme when the red 'Hot n' Fresh' sign is glowing. It's not great food, but for the price they charge it's definitely worth it. It'll fill you up without messing with your stomach.

This place doesn't suck.
So we were trying to figure out what the order for delivery, when my friend suddenly decided the ONLY thing she wanted to eat was fried chicken. What? Fried chicken? Anyway, I'd been secretly thinking I wanted macaroni and cheese, and thought there might be a snowball's chance in hell we could find a place that would bring us both. So after a long search and my friend desperately begging not to order from this place, we decided we had to. So yeah, the food ROCKED.

Disgust-O-Mania
This was the worst meal I have had in a while. The chicken was greasier than it had to be and slimy is the only word I could use to describe the experience of biting into it. My wife and I were both pretty grossed out. The best part of the meal was the french fries and onion rings which tasted a little like it came out of an old shoe box of frozen food. In the process of ordering the food, we were harassed to order a drink. I felt like I was at a used car dealership and they were trying to get me to buy the more expensive model.

154th and St. Nicholas Place
Guys, I thought I would be the last place on earth writting a review for a Kennedy's Fried Chicken Chain but I have to tell you that this place is SLAMMING. Fried Chicken:Superb/ Mac & Chz:Good/ Desserts:Excellent! The place is near the corner of a 154th St. and St. Nicholas Avenue. The service is excellent and the place is always packed. If you're someone who enjoys adventuring of the beaten path than this place comes highly recommended. Take the C train to 155th and St. Nicholas Avenue and walk east down the hill. You will see both Yankee Stadiums before you but you want to be on the right hand side of the street. I've never written a review before but this place is worth every charcter in this post.

Disappointed
Ordered in from Kennedy's the other night for the first (and last) time. The restaurant forgot to tell the delivery guy that the buzzer was broken and so he needed to call, so it was late. As for the food, let's see... chicken was wayyyy sub-par, mashed potatoes and gravy were disappointing, pizza rolls were inedible, corn on the cob was soggy, and the onion rings were missing. The only thing even close to positive about this place was the cost: it's relatively cheap. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Best EV Chicken
Love the chicken, and I was compelled to write because tonight's delivery arrived in under 10 minutes. For the price, the best fried chicken in NY. Avoid the mashed potatoes and rolls though, not very good.
