I'm a Brooklyn native and my girlfriend did Peace Corps in Panama. We live in the neighborhood and both love this food! Sopa de Res, Hojaldres and Pollo Guisado are our favorites. The service is wonderful, the people are very friendly. The recent renovations are a nice addition too. An overall A+!

I love going to Kelso! The food is wonderful. My favority is the cod-fish with white rice and plantain. The service and friendliness of the staff is why I go there often. I like the fact that although it's a Panamanian restaurant, the place caters to everyone. The owner makes you feel more than welcome.

Every time I go to NYC I have to stop by and get my comida tipica fix. I usually get the bistec picado with arroz y guandu (strips of steak in gravy with rice and pigeon peas) with a side of patacones/tostones (green plantain twice fried) and yucca frita (fried cassava). The carimañolas are amazing aswell. Now I'm getting hungry lol!
