Kellogg's Diner

I was surprised when I saw all the poor reviews for Kellogg's Diner. I just moved to Williamsburg so I don't know much about the old Kellogg's Diner but I really like the atmosphere of the new place. The menu is a bit expensive but the food is great: I've been there twice and haven't been disappointed yet. The only thing that I don't like about Kellogg's is the service—the wait staff is incredibly slow. However, overall I think it's a great place to get a bite to eat whenever (esp seeing that it's open 24hrs).

Kellogg's used to be amazing! I grew up in Williamsburg and since we were 12, my friends, family and I would allways refer to Kellogg's to have a quick yummy meal. 3am after a night of clubbing it would definitely be Kellogg's! Needless to say...many amazing experiences at Kellogg's...When we saw they closed last summer we were disappointed but excited to see what they had in store for us. Dead, gone, and sadly disappointing. Ever since Kellogg's decided to be a crazy restaurant with a design out of the Jetson's service sucks, the food is mediocre, and the waiting service sucks. On three different occasions a group of girlfriends and I have sat around a table of boys and no matter when we ordered, the boys have been served first by a cheerful blond waitress. I miss the staff that worked there consistently and always greeted you with a smile whether you were from the neighborhood or a newly established yuppie/hipster (cuz you're all the same). 2 years ago I would've rated everything as a 4.5

After they reopened I'll admit it- I was sceptical to say the least. I have been back no less than five times since, and while you're not going to get a culinary masterpiece, it's a lot better than it was. Everything I've had was good and exactly what I asked for. This diner is much better so give these dudes a break and try it out. It's good!

My fiance and I were not discouraged after reading many bad reviews on Kellogg's Diner, so we decided to give it a shot - knowing how much we love diners. Unfortunately, we should've listened. Our experience was horrendous across the board, but a particular incident comes to mind - when the turkey sausages ordered by my fiance came out ice cold and uncooked. Then to fix the situation, they simply placed the sausages back in the deep fryer!

I went to the newly renovated kelloggs diner, except for the diner booths it doesn't look like a diner, the waiters were very friendly, the music was a little loud, the big problem that I had was that its not a diner, I had a cheeseburger and fries, it was $11.50 and it tasted like a bj's burger and frozen fries, the gyro sandwich and fries was $12.50 and was all salad and 2 strips of gyro meat, the takeout menu is cheaper than the eat in menu

After many years of eating at old time/ old style diners the day of asking "why is this place still in business?" is here. Without a doubt the food quality has hit a new low. The prices have kept pace with the times. The service is OK but really slow. Many years ago this was the place that everyone wanted to go to for a quick meal. Then they started to subdivide the diner into a news stand and candy stand. They lost their focus on that its a diner...Sorry for the rant.

It's a shame that being the only 24hr diner in Williamsburg this place can't fix itself up to be half decent. Every time I go they are out of EVERYTHING on the menu except for burgers, chicken fingers and Eggs. I don't get it?? Then to top it off the food tastewise is subpar too. How do you mess up a burger?! Not recommended unless you are truly desperate in the wee hours.
