    Charming surprise

Individual, charming, inexpensive and with table service. A wonderful find! Quiet, and a refreshingly gruff waiter/counter person instead of that artificial in your face cheer. Crepes seem to be the specialty, omelets not great, but definitely go here if

    no way

I tried to like it (went several times against my wife's advice) and they cannot get an order correct--then they blame you! One order of eggs was so undercooked I beleiveve they were dangerous.

    Where am I?

I agree with the other reviews here - this cafe definitely gets me out of the midtown hustle. service is laid back (I never got a self-written-in-tip on my bill from a waiter, and Ive eaten here a half-dozen times), and the food is good and fresh. Lattes

The European waiter guy is extremely snotty. He huffed at me when I didn't want to order yet since I was waiting for a friend, and when I ordered soup and tea, they were out of both!! Later, he again pouted that we wanted to split the check and said,

    Great presentation!

Their latte is great and presented perfectly with foam, topped with tender chocolate powder. The place has very European feel, it's very cozy and will make you wanting to come back. The only con is that they don't have their own restroom and you have to s

i almost dont want to write a review

this is the kind of place you really want to keep to yourself. the selection of tea is impressive and the 5-6 table limit is endearing. dont be surprised if a neighbor strikes up conversation, its just that kind of place.
