I went in with a friend, during a karaoke night. I am not a singer, and was reluctant. My friend, less shy, wanted to sing YOUNG MC's "Bust a move". When I seemed shy, the bartender said "shot on the house if you do it!". Well, how could I refuse? I was bad, was toasted, and had a shot of Bushmills, on the house. THIS is what NYC pubs use to be and should be. Haven't tried the food since my, er, performance, but I love the character of this place. PS- The wait staff are actually Irish too!

It was the only bar on the street but it was far from quiet inside. They had great karaoke at night and the staff is extremely awesome. Good music selections to choose from. Wish I had been there earlier to try the food. The drinks were a little pricey ($4 bottles and $7 mixed). I know thats the avergae for NY ... I guess I was just hoping for a place that was a little out of the way, there would be some compensation in the value. Not bad for the beer, but I'm calling for all NYers to demand a $6 mixed drink ... as a matter of fact, when you stop by, let them know ... just sing it in one of your songs!
