My office mates and I frequently go out for happy hour during the week, but it's only a handful of us who stay out after that later in the week (many people don't live in Manhattan). We are mid-towners but ventured over to Perfect Pint. It was packed so we asked them if there was another place around, they mentioned Keats. I can't believe I never knew about this place. Nestled in a 2-3 block no man's land of bars, this place has it all...fun patrons, great service, and the karaoke was top notch (the fun time, not necessarily all the singers). We don't make it over to the east side often (maybe once every 2 weeks), but we ALWAYS hit Keats, and it's usually our last stop for the night. Highly recommended!

Never order delivery from Keats. Not only did it take almost an hour to come after being told "15 minutes" when I ordered, but our food was COLD when it arrived and very sub-par. My friend's quesadilla was pathetic. Stay away!

I enjoy the apps and the Rosemary Chicken sandwich especially. This is definitely a great staple and a fun bar to check out. Quiet enough to catch up or watch a game before the singing starts, and definitely a fun time afterwards!

If you like singing karaoke (Thu, Fri & Sat nights) or watching others carry on, Keats is a lively, spirited bar. If you need a little liquid fortitude to help get you on stage, drinks are very reasonable. Dan the MC, makes you feel right at home.

Let's see...this place has minimums every night except Saturday, so don't bother going unless it's Saturday. That being said, the kitchen closes earlier on Saturday Night, so you'll have to sit around if you're going for karaoke. The karaoke itself is top notch, song selection is the best we've seen and the singers are generally great. Call ahead and find out if there's a minimum that night and you'll be ok.

I actually pass by this place a lot and thought it was closed on Sundays...turns out it's open for football season. we decided to give it a try and i'm glad we did. The staff is great, attentive and accomodating. They don't have a whole lot of TVs but they made sure they had the football game on that we wanted to watch, the food was delicious (burgers on English muffins and a couple nice chicken sandwiches too) and very comfortable. I try to go to games every other Sunday, so when I'm not I love coming back to Keats (if you're a Dallas fan, beware, I think the owner or manager is an Eagles fan)

I love going to Keat's because the prices are low, the people are cool, and the scene is very relaxed and fun. I don't feel like I'm in NYC when I'm there! For a relaxed Irish Pub, the food is better than expected! Try the Santa Fe Chicken Wrap or the Rosemary Chicken Sandwich or visit on Sundays for football and try the Philly Cheesesteak and a bucket of beers! All come with their homemade chips which are always fresh and delicious!
