I've been living in nyc for about 5 years, and have been to my fair share of kosher and even some not kosher restaurants in the city. this one is special. the blatant Jewish theme (the Dvar Torah deal is defiantly Rebbe approved) is refreshing in the face of other kosher restaurants unsuccessful attempts impersonate non kosher establishments. But to be honest what its really about is the meat. Find me a better Kosher Steak. i know their prices have increased but that should be expected as this is New York and the cost of a properly dried steak is not cheap. though there's defiantly more economical choices available (Philly steak or chicken avocado wraps ....). though the service at times could be better they seem to try but when that place gets busy it needs more help. All in all highly recommended. p.s. a beer/wine list would be nice

over a period of a year and this is hands down the best kosher take out in the city, let alone the UWS. Great delivery service, So-so dining in. Food is superb. Steaks, Burgers, Chicken, Rumaki, Cigars, you name it they know how to make it. I like to believe i have one of the more discriminating palates as nurturing on food is my particular vice of choice. In a nutshell, Burger Brazilian Steak Rumaki Cigars, Texas nuggets Onion Rings (only to stay, they get soggy on delviery) Multiple grilled chicken dishes. Show me a better casual steakhouse in the city, i dare you.

Atmosphere is noisy, place is crowded, tables very close together. The food is generally quite good, but a bit pricey. Lately, I had chicken kebab and portion was MUCH smaller than in the past. Service often requires motioning to waiters several times to get them to come over.

Went to kasbah the day after new years with some friends and i have never seen the place so busy. the line was literally out the door. they need to expand. thankfully we had reservation. though there was still a short wait it was nothing to painful considering how good the food was. i strongly recommend the yoseph dream steak. by far the best kosher food in they city. add to that the free dessert we got by giving the manager a dvar torah and it was perfect. just hope they expand soon.

Service is subpar - food gets a C- Had dinner at Kasbah several times and service was painfully,some of the worst I have ever experienced in my life, no joke. The waiters are on unbelievable. two person in our party of 9 did not receive their main course until the rest of us were finished with ours. I would never go back.

This place is unique. A casual atmosphere with delicious food. The quality here is always above par. and everything i have ordered there has come fresh and hot. great waiters not so great matre'd. don't expect a reservation to be honored on time if its busy. the burgers are the best in town.... im drooling just thinking about eating there tonight!!
