Bad Service and Overpriced!
We decided to go here after having a long day in the city and looking at the other korean restaurants on the street, we stopped here. We were surprised when we opened the menu. We wanted to do the grill, but no one could explain to us what to do or order. They almost seemed irratated that they had to help us. We spent $70 for two meats, "sides" which they never explained, and one beer plus a tip. We weren't even full when we left. The food wasn't bad, but i've had similar at places where it only cost me $10. What a waste!!

Subpar service
I call here to have my food delivered from time to time but occasionally, they'll tell me that the delivery is not possible due to their lack of servers or something that came up. Either u do delivery or u dont. If you continue to tell customers when they call to order food that "sometimes" delivery is not possible, sooner or later, you're going to lose that customer and not get a good recommendation. Word of mouth is very important, esp. in Ktown. This IS NOT good service. Esp. when asked then when it would be more convenient, the cashier wasnt too thorough with her explaination and kept telling me that it wasnt her fault, that she was just told that. Will never order from here again.

Mix results posted but I love it.
Some say to avoid and stay away but I say the opposite. Kang Suh has been around for many years and I have always enjoyed their food. There are many Korean restaurants in 32nd street with similiar menu and price. What distinguishes Kang Suh from the rest is quality. When I dine in Korean restaurants, I usually BBQ meat on the grill. Over the many years I've dined in Korean restaurants, Kang Suh has the best quality meats. Some soju with that would make a perfect meal.

Avoid
The food is overpriced, but what restaurants in NYC aren't? It took the food forever to come out, which is like all other restaurants. But the fact that the food was severely below par, made this restaurant unappealing. I know Korean food and it wasn't good. The Jabchae should be avoided, the BBQ was low quality, and all the banchan was disasterous. If you want good Korean food that is worth the price, go across the Street to Shilla. Try the Kalbi JJim best I have ever had here or Korea.

I <3 KangSuh =)
I don't know what's up with that last review but Kang Suh is the best. I've been going there for years now and I've never had an issue with the food or anything. I <3 Korean food and have been to almost every other restaurant on 32nd st. but none were as good as Kang Suh.

Go somewhere else...
Food quantity, quality & service has definitely declined at Kang Suh. Two thumbs down! My friend & I ordered 2 orders of BBQ beef & Jap Chae. The beef came in small, appetizer sized dishes! At $24.99 per order that is just absurd. Asked for tea that never came, waitress was so unattentive and never came to check on the BBQ. The side dishes were so lame and looked as if they had been sitting outside awhile. The taste of the food was far from spectacular and over priced. I will NEVER dine at Kang Suh again.
