I came to this place with my friends for a Birthday celebration. The food was good but what really made Kana stand out was the music. We came on a Friday night and the deejay was outstanding. Everybody was jumping to the music and the energy in the place was fabolous. If you like Latin Rock and Pop this place is hard to beat.

Best tapas I have had since I lived in Spain. The portions were the perfect size and the atmosphere was cozy. Great date or small group place.

If you are looking for a place to dine- prob not here. But if your looking for underground spanish music & authentic salsa dancing then this is the place. Yes its cramped but the atmosphere is great. Its a place to chill after hours.

Way, and I mean way too crowded. Very small tables and very cramped. They couldn't fit all our food in the small table. The food was not good. You get so little for the money you spend. Needless to say the main course dish should've been advertised as an appetizer instead. The food was nothing special. Now the service. They kept giving our food to wrong table, and we had to let them know that that was our dish. It was not just a one time thing, it was constant. We dine out A LOT, and this was the most subpar service we've ever encountered, with mediocre food to boot.

What a great experience! Being Spanish I just found the food fantastic and a taste of home. A really wonderful selection of inexpensive wine. Very thoughtful and helpful service. Authentic value for money and absolutely delicious.

I'm not one of those people who expects to be waited on hand and foot at a restaurant, so it is rare that I would complain about service. Our waitress was very nice, but extremely disorganized and the food came out at a strange pace-all of the cold dishes arrived at once and then the hot dishes did not arrive until we complained twice (over a period of about 45 minutes). The staff also kept bringing food to the table that we had not ordered and did not bus the empty dishes/glasses often enough so the small tables got very crowded. Basically, the staff seemed completely overwhelmed all evening, from the time that we arrived to a virtually empty restaurant into the later portion of the evening when the place got very crowded. The food was pretty good, though. A real standout were the mussels, probably the biggest I've ever seen. The manchego, boquerones and albondigas were good, too. I might give this place another chance, but probably more for a snack on a weeknight than a full meal on a weekend. I think it might be rather a crap shoot here.

Excellent food, fun place, great music.
