Kambi Ramen House
Posted by Ayani on 05/17/2015
Lovely little shop of ramen. I've had their charshu rolls (which are to die for), the wahoo ramen (the meat melts in your mouth), and their onigiri (unbelievably flavored). The only downside is that drinks are over $3 and it's one waitress.

Im a regular kambi customer for 5 yrs and they never disappoint .Their noodle is the best ! Their soup base is yummylicious! They have the melt in your mouth pork! Kambi is the ultimate ramen house in nyc.

One of the most amazing Spicy Basic Ramen (thin noodles) I ever had.

I live on the UES and would travel to get me some basic salt & garlic broth, thick noodles & pork! I used to go to the other popular Ramen restaurants, but the quality went downhill for one, and the wait time for the other was a joke. This is for ramen aficionados. I iwsh they have karaage and beer on tap.

My wife and I are Japanese, and we have eaten at many different ramen-ya here in the city. Kambi (and its sister joint, Minca) makes the best ramen. Period. Kambi is our regular ramen-ya. The noodles are always cooked perfectly, and I like getting the whole wheat noodles. Kambi is some seriously good eats, and it's definitely the place to go for ramen. (Cash only.)

I've been going here for years now since they first opened up and have NEVER been disappointed. hands down best ramen ever!! and the pork is delicious! on top of all this, the service is always wonderful and the staff is super friendly. highly recommend! Try to kimchi & pork sautee appetizer and the spicy miso ramen! You will love it!

After being disappointed by a couple of different ramen places, mainly because they serve an all pork menu, I was so happy to find Kambi. They have a nice variety of soups that you can either order straight off the menu, or choose your noodle, soup base, meat, etc. The totally adorable waitress was really helpful answering my questions, and our choices wound up being wonderful. The ramen bowls are huge and stuffed with plenty of what ever you order. They are trully filling. Beware of the lunch special combo... there is alot of food, which is not a bad thing if you weren't planning on eating dinner any time soon. My husband who is not the most adventurous eater has suggested going back a few times, and that says alot! I can't wait fo the first cold crisp fall day so I can head down to 14th street for a nice bowl of yummy ramen.
