Interesting, light eats and great atmosphere
Friend and I went here for "Taste of South Africa" with Gilt voucher. All the wines we had were delicious and really appreciated how Josh came over to table to talk about each of the wines. Apps were unique and tasty. Nice laid back place. Will definitely go back - beer menu looked very interesting. Only complaint - really steep stairs to get to bathroom, wouldn't want to be wearing heels and have a few drinks in me :-)

Bad service , poor quality food no good!
The place is too small , too dark service is poor takes for ever to serve you.

Amazing sliders!
The sliders are incredible, the lamb tongue was cooked perfectly! Great wine list, priced nicely to go along with the great food!

Overpriced
Food is tasty, place has a pleasant vibe but they overcharge. 3 really tiny samosas were $9. Perhaps the fact that the menu for the restaurant both here and on their website omits prices says something.

Cozy and Yummy
Kaia Wine Bar is a cozy funky spot with delicious light food, perfect for a late meal -- since no place else in this neighborhood is open that doesn't suck. The wait staff is pleasant, the lighting is pleasantly low, the wine selection is good and not too pricey. The South African rose is perfect and only $9 a glass. Highly recommended by a picky eater.

Great
Great place, great wine list, laid back and very friendly. The owners are wonderful and the tapas change and everything is so fresh and tasty.
