Great Breakfast!
Ordered take out for me, my husband and 2yr old. We shared a platter and got an extra side! It was fresh, delicious and a great portion! Would definitely recommend. I love Spanish Harlem!

over payment
Food was good but they overcharged me. waiting to see if they will reimburse me. The waitress kept forgetting to bring the basic essentials to the table such as napkins, water, utensils. Other than that it is an ok place to dine in.

Great Food Around!
When i first discovered this place i wasn't sure to go in or not but when i saw many people inside, i said to myself ''why not and give it a try''. Since then i do not regret going inside, the food is incredible with amazing taste and the waiter was very polite when i was asking questions about each type plate they had. So anybody looking for great mexican food you should definitely come here!!

epitome of mediocrity
Based on one other reviewer's comments, I was expecting a whole lot more. There was nothing bad, but nothing impressive about this eatery. I had a beef burrito. It was perfectly edible but far short of delicious. No complimentary chips were served. They have sangria but I chose not to order it after finding out it came from a bottle (i.e., not made fresh on premises). Atmosphere was slightly tacky with neon signs and a television at the bar. But it was relatively clean. Service was adequate but not what you would call attentive. A very under-whelming experience in all aspects.

One of "Little Mexico's" best
I live a block from this place, which anchors the west end of East Harlem's "Little Mexico." Of the dozens of authentic and very good Mexican joints in the area, this is one of the best. The service is cheerful and efficient, the food delicious and a value. The cactus burrito and vegetarian burrito are esp. wonderful, and the breakfast dishes are uniformly good. Moreover, they have excellent coffee and are happy to give you plenty of it (for some reason it seems customary at many Mexican restaurants to quit brewing coffee at 9 a.m. and to consider you deranged if you want any later than that, ha).
