Just say no
Ordered in a burger, fries, mac & cheese (which they were out of). The beef of the burger itself was okay. But when they charge extra for onion, it would be nice if one got more than one single ring (I don't even mean a whole slice of onion. I mean just one tiny wilted ring). Ditto the cheese, which was the thinnest hint of Swiss. The french fries were cold and stale. Overall, one could do much better at a greasy-spoon diner.

Great service even better food
I ordered for the first time last week and I was completely satisfied, from the polite and patient responses I received from the person who answered the phone (not to mention his little Caribbean accent :) , to the accuracy of the order and the exquisite taste of the food. I will recommend just taste it to all my friends, family, co-workers and even random people I come across on a day to day basis.

Disappointed
I ordered a beef burger with cheese fries and fried chicken with macaroni and cheese and collard greens. The food was very greasy and had no taste - the soul was missing from this so called soul food. The burger made my son ill and he couldn't finish it. Because this was my first time ordering from here I will wait a few months and once my confidence is rebuilt I will try ordering from them again and hopefully it will be better. If there is no improvement I will never order from here again.

Superb takeout food
Excellent takeout food menu. Amazingly fresh ingredients and just enough seasoning on everything. I had a perfectly cooked burger and fries (best fries I have had in years). My wife had a huge salad with salmon and avocado. The interior space is small, but the music was fantastic and the two chefs were really friendly and attentive to my wife's dietary requirements. They were pretty knowledgeable about all the ingredients in every dish. Considering how serious this place is about the food, the quality of the ingredients, the sophistication of the prep process, and the skillfulness with which everything is cooked (the fries were literally perfect) the value is astounding. I'm very happy they are in the neighborhood.

Great take-out/delivery place, finally!
There is such a lack of good delivery places in Clinton Hill serving burgers, fish sandwiches, salads, etc. I was so happy when this place opened and have not been disappointed in the food so far. I only wish they'd add a veggie burger to their menu because sometimes I get the craving for one. My favorite so far is the fried shrimp.
