Paying for service not food
Food is good but 50% too expensive. excellent service is what you are getting for your money, but unfortunately not amazing food. Ordered the winter daiquari, tasted nice but was very small.

Romantic, Elegant, Upscale
The bar area is sexy and romantic. Elegant attentive service. Beautiful water feature. Nice wine list. This isn't what you think of for Indian food - more like international haute cuisine. Just opened so hasn't been discovered by the i-bankers or the power agents.....yet. Go enjoy it before they find out and ruin it like they do to every other slinky cool spot.

Excellent
We went for NYE tasting menu. Everything was excellent. This is a "three star" service restaurant with really good indian food served in what can best be described as a "French style." No complaints and will be back.

Classic Indian Reinvented Brilliantly
Close your eyes and point to the menu...you can't go wrong. Traditional spices and ingredients creatively reinvented into mouth watering bliss. Added to the artful menu is the unobtrusive yet excellent service plus an inspiring decor making this place very, very special.

A New Gem
On our recent weekend trip to New York, we just passed by Junoon. I did not know that it had just opened. I was totally blown away. Its like a palace of Indian cuisine. Forgive me for not knowing about Chef Khanna before this moment. We started googling him on our blackberries while dining. It was amazing to see such a talent in front of your eyes. I wish him luck and hope to go back on my next visit. Keep rocking!
