Overpriced
Went to Juniors for lunch with wife and daughter on Dec 21, 2012. My wife and daughter ordered club sandwickes and I ordered a Reuben. All the sandwiches were just under $15.00 and did not even include fries. Needless to say I was expecting a very good sandwich. There was a bit more meat on them then you would find at other places, but other than that I would say the quality was the same. I ordered fries for my daughter to the tune of $4.50. With 2 sodas and a coffee, I walked out of there with a $61.84 bill before tip! Go someplace else for lunch. Juniors is overpriced for the quality of food. Did have the cheesecake the next day however and it was very good.

first time customer and i'll def be back
The wait to sit we were told was gonna be 40 mins but to our surprise we were seated in about 20. Once seated our waitress was upfront about the portions and even recommended some items for us. We had the french onion soup (awesomely done) then we shared a chicken parm meal w/linguini (which by the way might have been the best chicken parm I ever had...and thats no joke). It was huge! And I believe it was like 18.99 (or something like that) but there was sooo much on the plate that the 2 of us couldnt finish it all....then we got take out desserts to go. both were very yummy (classic cheesecake and the carrot cake/cheesecake slice) a little pricey but very tasty. I'll def go back

don't do takeout -- they never get it right
cheesecake justly famous, burgers good -- order sitdown only, with takeout they always get the order wrong, no matter how much you specify

Not recommended
The service was poor, our waiter disappeared often and never asked how the meal was going or asked if we needed refills or anything else. I was given a USED napkin, a napkin which was sitting at the table before we arrived meaning who knows how many times this happens. Do not ever eat at this location, the food is unappetizing and the service is non-existant.

Good cheese cake, nothing else worth going for.
When going to NY for a special event my wife and I met a friend at JR's, our friend having suggested it. My wife read other reviews about how much food you got and the great prices. That was far from the truth. I grew up in New York City myself and moved away several years ago but never remember going to a restaurant and paid so much for so little. The average sandwich is twice the price at comparable places for the same amount of food, in some ways less food and same quality as at other restaurants. If you do go the only thing I recommend is the cheese cake. It was really the only thing we had that was worth the price.

Loved it!
Ate @ Juniors in GCS last week and really enjoyed my meal as did my friend. Service was great and we got to watch the world go by as we ate. Only negative was the cramped space but everyone was very accommodating and it worked out fine. I would choose Junior's again.

Liked it
I'm from outside NYC and was a bit concerned at first about eating at Junior's inside Grand Central Terminal. As it turned out: My waiter was friendly and attentive and the food good. The flavor of the Terminal was a plus.
