    Liked it

I'm from outside NYC and was a bit concerned at first about eating at Junior's inside Grand Central Terminal. As it turned out: My waiter was friendly and attentive and the food good. The flavor of the Terminal was a plus.

    will not be returning

I've been to Junior's Time Square before and there hasn't been any problems (but that was awhile ago). My friend and I went recently and received the worst service EVER. Our food came after everyone else that was seated around us even though we were there first. Our waiter was nowhere to be found. My water cup was always empty and had to ask multiple times to get it filled. When our dessert was brought out, it was basically thrown on our table and he ran off immediately. We sat there staring at our piece of cake with no utensils in sight. We tried to get his attention a couple times when he came back to tend to the other patrons. It was rather difficult. When we were finished paying, we asked for a box to pack up our dessert. I asked once, nothing happened. I asked again, he asked if I needed two or one. I asked for just one. 15 minutes goes by and we look out and see him chatting with people. I get up and walk over to him and ask for a box. As I walk away I can hear him saying to his fellow coworkers that I was acting like I had asked him a couple times for a box or something! (I did!!) At no point did our waiter ever apologize for not being around. I am pretty understanding of people in the service industry but this was plain ridiculous!

    good cheesecake but..

Juniors cheesecake is amazing but the food here is pretty bad and very expensive for what it is. This is a great place to get a coffee and a slice of cake. Skip the meal however. The wait staff was much more interested in chatting to each other than to helping its patrons. The soup was canned and tasted like ramen noodles. The sandwiches did not seem very fresh.

food is not so good, not horrible

Really, you can find better food. the food comes out less than 5 minutes after you order, so it doesnt taste fresh, and it just isnt that good. not too expensive, but not worth it. its not bad though, if you are like many of these people who rave about it, and like eating junk, then go, but really, at times square theres so much more. just eat if your hungry, its about $15 for a burger plate

    not up to reputation

We brought our out of town relatives to NYC to see the sights and planned to include Juniors as our mid-day lunch break. We had read the favorable reviews and decided the restaurant fit convenieintly with all of the sights we wanted to experience for a day trip to The City. Well, the waiter decided that we were not to be taken seriously as patrons. At the end of the meal, which consisted of dry burgers and limp fries, we asked for water. The waiter poured water into our soda glasses!

    Great food... waitstaff ok

I took my kids & mom to broadway show (Lion King) and decided to eat at juniors because it was close & seemed like service would be relatively quick. The food was GREAT! Though the waitstaff was friendly, they were a bit slow.. but in any case I would recommend eating here and I am not easy to please. Considering how expensive & 'dirty' some places in the Time Square area can be- I was very happy. -

    Eat at Junior's

Their food was really good. The burgers were nicely done and so were the steak fries. those are some of the best steak fries I have ever had!! Although I did not get to try their cheesecake I assure you that it is just as good. Eat at Junior's for a nice meal.
