Not recommended
The service was poor, our waiter disappeared often and never asked how the meal was going or asked if we needed refills or anything else. I was given a USED napkin, a napkin which was sitting at the table before we arrived meaning who knows how many times this happens. Do not ever eat at this location, the food is unappetizing and the service is non-existant.

Good cheese cake, nothing else worth going for.
When going to NY for a special event my wife and I met a friend at JR's, our friend having suggested it. My wife read other reviews about how much food you got and the great prices. That was far from the truth. I grew up in New York City myself and moved away several years ago but never remember going to a restaurant and paid so much for so little. The average sandwich is twice the price at comparable places for the same amount of food, in some ways less food and same quality as at other restaurants. If you do go the only thing I recommend is the cheese cake. It was really the only thing we had that was worth the price.

Loved it!
Ate @ Juniors in GCS last week and really enjoyed my meal as did my friend. Service was great and we got to watch the world go by as we ate. Only negative was the cramped space but everyone was very accommodating and it worked out fine. I would choose Junior's again.

Liked it
I'm from outside NYC and was a bit concerned at first about eating at Junior's inside Grand Central Terminal. As it turned out: My waiter was friendly and attentive and the food good. The flavor of the Terminal was a plus.

will not be returning
I've been to Junior's Time Square before and there hasn't been any problems (but that was awhile ago). My friend and I went recently and received the worst service EVER. Our food came after everyone else that was seated around us even though we were there first. Our waiter was nowhere to be found. My water cup was always empty and had to ask multiple times to get it filled. When our dessert was brought out, it was basically thrown on our table and he ran off immediately. We sat there staring at our piece of cake with no utensils in sight. We tried to get his attention a couple times when he came back to tend to the other patrons. It was rather difficult. When we were finished paying, we asked for a box to pack up our dessert. I asked once, nothing happened. I asked again, he asked if I needed two or one. I asked for just one. 15 minutes goes by and we look out and see him chatting with people. I get up and walk over to him and ask for a box. As I walk away I can hear him saying to his fellow coworkers that I was acting like I had asked him a couple times for a box or something! (I did!!) At no point did our waiter ever apologize for not being around. I am pretty understanding of people in the service industry but this was plain ridiculous!

good cheesecake but..
Juniors cheesecake is amazing but the food here is pretty bad and very expensive for what it is. This is a great place to get a coffee and a slice of cake. Skip the meal however. The wait staff was much more interested in chatting to each other than to helping its patrons. The soup was canned and tasted like ramen noodles. The sandwiches did not seem very fresh.

food is not so good, not horrible
Really, you can find better food. the food comes out less than 5 minutes after you order, so it doesnt taste fresh, and it just isnt that good. not too expensive, but not worth it. its not bad though, if you are like many of these people who rave about it, and like eating junk, then go, but really, at times square theres so much more. just eat if your hungry, its about $15 for a burger plate
