    Horrible food. Great atmosphere.

This is a subpar French bistro. I mean, escargot without garlic? Tasteless, directionless muscles? This is generic, generic, generic.

    Mediocre food, way way overpriced

The atmosphere is delightful, both upstairs on the deck and inside the restaurant itself. The food is abysmal. I took some friends here for brunch on Sunday because the place I had planned to go was inexplicably closed. I had a BLT which cost $11. That's a bit high for a sandwich, so one would expect something a little special. It was 2 pieces of supermarket wheat bread, a sorry bit of lettuce, a thin slice of supermarket tomato and some overcooked bacon. And a generic mesclun salad on the side. My companions didn't do much better with their orders. The staff were friendly enough but quite slow. We ordered iced coffee and it was served without ice! After we requested it several times, a glass of ice arrived at the table as we were finishing.

    not so good

ive been here twice. the first time for dinner on the roof. the food was delicious. we ordered rose, fresh oysters and a bibb lettuce salad (neither take too much skill in the kitchen). it was pricey but the atmosphere was great and though the service was slow, the waiter was nice. i returned for brunch shortly after, however, and was disappointed with both the food and the service. it took an hour to get our food and another to get the check. our waitress seemed pained when we asked her for anything. my friends had a chicken sandwich and a cobb salad which they both said they'd never order again and my omelette was mediocre. needless to say, our food was not worth the holes in our wallets.

    Not reocommended

I'd been nagging my guy to go here since the summer, since I love the look of the roof deck. We went for brunch on a Saturday and whilst the menu looked great, the reality was hugely disappointing. The English muffins in the Eggs Benedict were hard and tiny, and the potatoes were so over-cooked they were inedible. On top of that the service was impersonal and rushed. Sadly we'll not be going again - even if they do have pretty pictures on the walls.

    I like this place

I enjoyed my brunch here. My server was a sweet girl named Mirka and she was very attentive. The food was very tasty. The steak could have been a little bigger for what I paid for it though. A welcome addition to the neighborhood.

    Atmosphere? OR Service?

Loved the physical space on a lovely fall day!! Roof-deck is great! Wanted more from the food and service though, especially at the prices....we were in Brooklyn?? or Manhattan??? Service was poor and understaffed (there were a few employees that were taking in the sun).....yet place wasn't to full capacity. Food took over 1 hr. and was subpar. Thank goodness we went to the bar to get 1-on-1 service...although she was very busy (someone had to work), she did her best and the effort was noted. Go for drinks on the roof-deck, and sit at the bar, but you don't need to eat.
