    just say "non"

Service and reservations are snooty, like they're doing you a favor letting you eat there. Food is edible, and better than the service. There are much better French bistros in the neighborhood than Jubilee, and they appreciate their customers.

    Never disappoints

This is great go to hidden gem tucked away a bit too far east but worth the trek. Food is always fresh and excellent. The only downside is the space. Be prepared to be crammed in. Make it a regular.

    Delish.

I came a few weeks ago for an early dinner and had a really good experience with the food. The escargot were awesome (but then again how wrong can you go with garlic and butter) and the mussels poulette were great - I wish I had more bread to sop up the sauce. My cousin ordered the gratin aux framboises for dessert, and as two people that aren't into dessert, we practically licked the plate clean. My only complaint was that we couldn't flag down the waiter at the end of the meal to get the check, but otherwise the service was fine. I'd definately recommend it.

    Wonderful!

Very cute little cozy French bistro. The escargot and mussells (the poulette style especially) are some of the best that I have ever had. Service was great. Tables were a little too close together but its a small space so its understandable. Definitely has become our go to dinner spot for cold winter evenings!

    Good, but...

The food here is very good. The soft shell crabs are awesome! The service is decent, with the waiters being much nicer than the host/hostess. Be careful.... it can be six o'clock on a Tuesday evening, you have a reservation, the restaurant is completely empty, and they try to seat you up stairs by the bar where the wait staff and bartender are gossiping to no end. They don't seem to care that a couple is sitting down to a $150 dinner. This has happened to us twice. Ask to move...

    One of my favorites

Fabulous mussels, the best in NYC! Great rack of lamb and other items. I wish they didn't charge extra if you want a vegetable instead of the rich potato with cheese. Both are very good. I feel you need to update your desserts. None live up to your entree selections.

    Fantastic food!

I took one of my friends out for for her first experience at a French restaurant and I am glad I was steered in the right direction with many great reviews I've read about Jubilee. The mussels poulette ( creamy chicken broth w/ mushrooms) was fantastic, next time I will try the curry. The wait staff was attentive and the atmosphere draws for more older crowd.
