we don't go anywhere else. the food amd service is top notch!

JPan has become our go to place for Sushi delivery. We've ordered numerous times and each time I find new combinations to choose from and staple favorites. The Never Know Fish roll is mmm delicious. I also love the roll with the fried banana, the JPan role, the pancake appetizers. Their cooked fish entrees are also superb. We tried the Chilean Sea Bass and were pleasantly surprised by the tenderness and complimenting flavors.

I honestly have never written a review of a restaurant before, but my recent experience with Jpan Sushi prompted it. I'd ordered from Jpan twice before as an alternative to my regular standby take-away sushi (Kiku), so was really surprised by the weird service on the third occasion. In a nutshell, the order took 2 hours to be delivered, during which time we telephoned the restaurant twice, each time the staff saying it would be there "in 10 minutes". The third time we called, they told us they were closing soon but the delivery guy would soon be there. At this stage we asked if we would still be charged for the food and after getting the manager on the phone were assured we would not be charged. I was genuinely surprised when the charge appeared two days later on my credit card. I was even more surprised that night when the delivery guy wouldn't leave our front door, angry at us for not paying him, even after we handed the phone to him to speak to his manager. It was beyond rude service and borderline scary and bizarre... beyond that, the food tasted like it had been sitting around for 2 hours.

This is a great, low-key neighborhood restaurant. Really good sushi with a really friendly staff. I always feel really welcome here. Definitely worth a try.

Great sushi. Tasty and fresh. Over attentive waiters. Try the fantastic roll. The Chilean sea bass melts in your mouth.
