Stay away on weekends
I have gone to Joya many times and went for the first time on a Saturday night. Now I don't mind waiting in line for a table. What I do mind is having the conceited host seat others who came in after us. Just because I'm not in the mood to schmooze, doesn't mean anyone should overlook us. This host would not even look my husband and I in the eye, as if we were below him. I got so offended, I left. Because I love Joya, I will return but never when this individual is here. I don't know how someone so rude could be working in such a wonderful restaurant.

Great Place
Sherry couldn't be more wrong. This place is amazing. Cheap, but really good Thai food. The bartenders are fantastic and pour stiff drinks. And the place is lively

Good Food, Ify Service
The food was ok. The drinks tasted as if they had no alcohol. The service was good but the staff chased us out of the restaurant before we were done drinking to give our seats away. They also took our money and did not bring us change!..rude. Will not return.

In love with Joya
Call me biased, but I love Joya. I like the neighborhood its in, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the friendly staff. I've never had a problem there, as far as rude staff. I usually get the same thing, pad thai with shrimp. It's a great price for what it is (its huge) and you can split it with someone if you get and appetizer. I've tried their prawn spring rolls with the sweet plum sauce. Just recently I tried their dessert, which I didnt even know they had. I recommend their fried bananas with ice cream. I dont think I would recommend taking out because once I ordered their spicy noodles and they stuck together. If you're going to a restaurant with a big group, you should definetely go to Joya!!

Very good
This is a favorite of ours. The food is great and the prices are right. The only down side is the music is TOO LOUD and you cannot carry on a conversation without yelling. It would be a perfect ten if they would lower the volume. We know many who no longer go here for this very same reason.

Romantic Spot
My honey took me there about 3 months ago and its a place where we go atleast twice a month. the food is delicious, the prices are VERY cheap. one time we had 2 entrees, 4 appetizers and 2 drinks for under $40. and the place is a very romantic spot, I THINK. a place that i highly recommend. you would NOT be disappointed.

Needs to Answer the Phone
Joya is the best food per dollar in the area. It's fantastic. However, they NEVER answer the phone for takeout anymore (perhaps too popular). It's always either busy or they just let it ring. They need to decide if they really want to allow takeout.
