Some of the best Thai food I've had in the city. Pretty standard menu but some of the dishes are uted near-perfectly. The Pad Thai is exceptional somehow it's definitely Pad Thai but it's not the dish you've tasted a million other times over the years. The fish specials are often delicious and non-standard. The curries are pretty standard. Be forewarned, the restaurant is extremely loud.

I've seen many people complain about the takeout service from Joya. News Flash! Part of the Joya experience is sitting there and eating while enjoying a cocktail or five. The food is absolutely out of this world. The prices are phenomenal, especially in this neighborhood. And the staff are so cute and friendly. Do yourself a favor and go eat at the place with a few friends. Cheers!

I love going to Joya to eat, but for some reason the takeout is always atrocious. Every time I want to give it another try, it's the same result. Really really really, suprisingly bad. Skip delivery and just dine in.

Good place to go with your friends but not with a date. Its very loud and you have to literally speak very loudly to be heard..the food is good and cheap...

I have been to this place twice now and both times the manager/owner managed to give us attitude. Most recently I was here for a Birthday party and not only did we have to wait 30 minutes to get seated, we were then at a table for 10 instead of 12. After getting an additional small table and 2 chairs, we then sat for another 30 minutes before the waitress came along and got our order. The food is absolutely nothing special except that the portions can feed a small army. As far as atmosphere goes, it's so loud that you won't hear the person next to you so don't count on a romantic meal or any conversation to occur.

Joya is definitely a joy. I've eaten at a few Asian/Thai restaurants in the past and I rate Joya #1. The wait at times may be long but I've learned to arrive early or to dine in the middle of the week. I introduced several friends to eat at Joya and they are now fans. Their Calamari appetizer is great and so are their drinks. Good place for the price and atmosphere. If you go once, you will always come back.

Inexpensive and very tasty and quality food - I come here at least once a month and bring all my friends, everyone loves it! Hip atmosphere and very cozy garden. Their full bar is also a big plus. Great for casual night-outs.
