Good food bad service
The food is really good here and it's relaxing to go eat but everytime I order here if it's for delivery or eating their they always mess something up!

amazing
SO GOOD! It's so great to have such a delicious burger place so close by and I feel like it's a little hidden secret! Even tastes good delivery...highly recommend!

Burgers should never be about the sauce!
First the good... quick lunchtime delvery down to 87th Street, a competent person took my order, decent fries, and tasty homemade iced (sweet mint) tea. Now the rest... I had a hankering for some sliders but my 'round the block place is no longer open for lunch so I trolled the web in desperation and discovered Joy Burger Bar. I (mistakenly) overlooked the "sauce" references in the reviews because, well, real burgers (even sliders) don't need much more than cheese, a pickle, and maybe a little ketchup if they're SEASONED and done right. Not only are the Munch (3oz) burgers ridiculously overpriced at nearly $4 a pop (without cheese) but they are totally bland when one doesn't order them with sauce.

perfect neighborhood joint
There are a lot of burger places in the city these days, but Joy Burger Bar just has the best burgers, fries & shakes AND it's right near my apartment, so I'm a happy customer. The employees are friendly, the prices are reasonable, the vibe is relaxed and young, and the sauces are pretty addictive... definitely an asset to the neighborhood.

no milkshakes?
i love the burgers at this place, but also really like the milkshakes. i called right now asking for delivery, and they said b/c they are busy they are not making any milkshakes. how can you eliminate a big part of your menu just b/c you are busy?! this is ridiculous. the girl on the phone was extremely rude about it as well. if you continue to treat customers like this, you will not be very busy for much longer.
