I've ordered all 3 of the burger sizes from Joy Burger and have never been disappointed. A 3 oz. Munch with f.f was enough to fill me at lunch time, and the 8 oz. Maxi with f.f left me half of a burger that was still good the next day. The only SLIGHTLY negative comment I have is that the roasted red peppers in the chicken salad are from a jar and taste like it. But that is a minor detail! Overall, great place!

these guys got it going on. i always get a veggie burger with avocado, cheddar and sauteed onions. the fries are best eaten there - they get soggy with takeout orders, But the potatoes are not frozen which is a lot more than i can say for most of these other spots. the milk shakes are crazy, like Kate said. it was pretty cheap, too. i was out for under $10 & stuffed full (& i can EAT). eat there.

The food is great. I've lived in this area too long without burgers and fries. Finally! Their milkshakes are insanely good and under $3. Where else do you find that in Manhattan? I eat myself to the verge of being sick and never spend more than $10. Do yourself a favor and stop in.

Joy Burger Bar was great! The food was delicious! The prices were cheap - and you can get a burger with any amount of delicious toppings. The fries were delicious and so were the zucchini sticks. They were very accommodating to our group of about 8 people. The atmosphere is very relaxed and has a 50ish vibe. The owners/staff were very friendly. They even brought out free sweet potato fries for our group to try. I would definitely recommend it to everyone I know.

Honestly this place is so good. Just got back from Joy Burger. The burgers are amazing. the fries are so fresh...their service is amazing the head manager dude just gave us a fresh batch of fries when my friends were raving about them The sweet potato fries come with maple syrup. Sooo good. The burgers come with special sauces. Oh yeah, and I paid $7.60 for burger and a side of sweet potato fries! Great deal for nyc.

Just came back from a great lunch at Joy. Burgers are yummy, just like one that has been perfectly cooked in the back yard. Chocolate shake was the ultimate end to the meal. Service was very warm too. Can't Wait to go back!

Great food, amazingly affordable. The ability to customize your burger with anything you like for free is so refreshing. Burgers come plain to start, and there are a plethora of great toppings to try out. My burger: Half-pounder with sauteed onions, spicy mayo, and sweet chili. The staff was very friendly and courteous, I'll definitely be heading back real soon.
