$10 is a little steep for delivery for one, but the food is so damn good I can't help it. The burgers are phenomenal, the fries are refreshingly different, the shakes are perfectly made. The delivery wait isn't too bad (20-30 min max) and the guys who answer the phone always have neat (but understandable) accents. I love this place.

There are a ton of burger joints in the area, and this one by far is the best, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. Highly, highly recommended.

We helped open this place and have become very good friends with the owners - and being regulars at a place like this is definitely nice in the Concrete Jungle. You can't beat the value for such a great quality meal.

I have lived in Spanish Harlem for the past 13 years, and until this day there is not a cute little hang out spot, unless if you try the cuchifritos, because of course everything around here is fried. I came across Joy Burger, because my son's friend invited him there for lunch one day and so I ordered Joy Burger about a month ago, and it was great. I decided to take my husband , and kids there for dinnerto feel the vibe, and the staff was very welcoming, you felt at home, the place is small for the amount of people that go eat there. I was there for maybe an hour and a half, and it was packed. The hamburgers are spectacular, very jusicy, not dry, or burned. The round fries, were very tasty and not oily like some other places. Then the most amazing part, are that they serve these little containers with different sauces, I guess they are like dips. I chose to dip my fries in the sweet and sour one, and it was amazing. I am originally from California, and this place reminded me, of a nice little burger joint somewhere on the beach or down, Sunset Boulevard.

Joy Burger is delicious. The employees were friendly and welcoming but not overbearing. Even as my friends and I passed the eatery daily, the Joy Burger crew would greet us with a genuine warmth. I enjoyed the Joy Burger cheesteak with American cheese and portobello mushrooms. While cheesteaks are not a frequent in my diet the sandwich served its purpose. Not too greasy, but still packed a punch. The roll was crusty on the outside but soft inside so it did not get soggy. As I mentioned simply delicious and relaxing dine. Joy Burger gives you what you order and does not skimp on the quality.

We came to NY for a holiday and visited Joy Burger Bar based on the reviews in Menu Pages. We agree with the other reviews that the food is really tasty - burgers, fries, sweet potatoes & milkshakes. The chap behind the bar is a great character and made us all feel very welcome. I have no hesitation in recommending this place and afterwards take a walk along 2nd Ave.

I was very sceptic about a new joint bar in east harlem , The service was fast ( the fastest i ever got my food) , The delivery guy came with clean uniform ( so you know the have a system ) its already gave me the idea that it is a CLEAN kitchen . The food was as i order mid burger which is very hard to achive on the delivery. The fires came out of the oil on time ( HOME MADE RUSTY TASTE) and the chicken cutlet was crispy and and NOT OILY at all . The food is fresh and you taste a real taste of GRILL. Worth every penny and some more, five star * * * * * category place, let them be more. So I can call my friends.
