I have been ordering from this place for months and now out of the blue they dont deliever to my area anymore when the owner came on the phone he made it seem like he was doing me a favor taking my order. Its a shame because the food is great but the service really blows.

Love it. Delivery was quick - BUT I did order for lunch - dinner might be another story. Of course it is yummier when I eat-in - somehow when they delivered it was a lot greasier (but stil yummy). One thing that impressed me is how crunchy the french fries were even w/ delivery - I mean SERIOUS CRONCH CRONCH -and I got normal fries - not the round ones that are more like chips

These burgers are the best. They are cooked exactly how you ask for them, they have good extras, and the price cannot be beat. Not greasy, delicious. Wish they could open a second shop further downtown.

I rarely give 5 star reviews, but this was one of the best burgers I've had in NYC. I also consider myself a cheeseburger afficionado. For the money, I don't think this burger can be beat. Two friends and myself try to visit a different burger place weekly. Joy Burger could be in my top five. At $7, the 8 oz. cheeseburger with sauteed onions was deeee-lish!! I order my burgers rare and with no sauces, so it's really a test to see who can cook the burger correct and have a good flavorful, juicy burger. I may start going there weekly because I'm up in that area on Tuesday night. I wish there was something this affordable AND good in Hell's Kitchen. Five Napkin Burger is great, but at more than double the price.

Like they say at Joy Burger, the secret is in the sauces, and they have a wonderful variety of them. I've tried almost all of them. Mango Chutney is terrific! The atmosphere is inviting. In my opinion, J.B.B. fits right into the new face of Spanish Harlem...or SpaHa, as some fancy it now.
