Good value
Am vegetarian so do not get to try all the dishes, but this place sure is value for money. Less cream and oil in the gravy than some other places, so tastes healthier.

Best Ever!!!!!!!!
I have been eating at Joy for almost 5 years. The food is always excellent and fresh! I am vegetarian and always find many things to chose from. I've even stopped by on a Saturday at 9:00 pm and the food was very fresh!!! Love, Love, Love Joy!!!!

You feel OK after ordering
This is a cheap and value to your money restuarent the quality and quantity is good but can be more better and one thing they have to do for sure is they have to pack seperately the curry contents when we do a online order for VEG/NON VEG platters. All in all a OK restuarent.

great food, big portions
this is one of the best indian places around and the servings are huge. its enough for two lunches. they give you rice and nann. the chicken korma is delicious. love this place. ii've been there about a half a dozen times and its always good.

Very good Indian, Very poor service
For Indian delivery (which is all I ever get from this place) it is very good. They give you alrge portions and the prices aren't horrible (though they won't deliver for less than $10). However, the delivery wait times seem to be getting longer and longer. I may stop ordering from them for this reason.

Delivery site down but they don't tell u
Made an order at 8pm online from one of their fliers they left in out building. Got a confirmation number and waited for delivery. 30 minutes later I called to inquire and they said it was on the way. Called back 15 minutes later and they said..low and behold.. They didn't have the order!!! Seriously. Then they said their website has been on the fritz. Why couldn't they tell me that the first time I called. DAfter waiting for an order for over 1 hour that's 2 blocks away I think the excuse your website doesn't work is lame. It's NYC take out-- sink or swim!!

Excellent food and well priced
I have ordered from here several times. There are a few very good Indian restaurants in the East 40s (lucky for the residents!), but this place stands out for a few reasons. They are VERY well priced. And secondly, try the Karahi! Chicken or Lamb (even better) this is a dish you don't see everywhere in a spicy ginger-tomato sauce. It is excellent! One recommendation to the owners - the Naan could be better - it's a little chewy - but a small nit pick. Highly recommended!
