Great Place, Great Food, Great Location
A little pricey, but well-worth it. As a Vegetarian, it is hard to find places that offer great food and wide selection. This place is totally amazing.. But be forewarned, it gets packed all the time, and the service sometimes needs a little push. Overall, you will feel well satisfied after you have eaten, even if you have sticker shock at the bill.

Gluten free heaven!
We went to Josies last weekend, on Saturday evening, and had the best experience to say the least. The cocktail I ordered, pear martini, was the an example of perfect mixology. I have a gluten restriction which narrows down my choices quite substantially. Our server was so well informed about the menu and so accomodating wih the order that we were game. The food as promised was of exceptional quality and taste. Terrific food and superior service. Keep up the good work josie's!!

Slowest Delivery in Midtown
I consistently order from Josie's for the food, although I also consistently tell myself to never order from here again. The delivery takes FOREVER, even after they tell you it will only be 20-30 minutes. Why set the expectation if you cannot deliver? I have had multiple times where I have to call back 2-3 times asking where my food is. Awful, awful service.

Poor service, decent food
I've been a few times, and I've always enjoyed the food. I've never really enjoyed the service though, e.g., the waiter forgets the bread (which makes the customer feel like some leper), the bus boy spills water all over the table and doesn't come back to help dry it, the waitress gets antsy when someone at the table has a special request, etc. It seems to me that quite a few reviews mention the service, which means this is a sign of poor management. I'd be curious whether the managers even read these reviews. It would be a shame, because the back of the house is clearly doing its job, but the front of the house couldn't care less.

Great Food, Super Slow Service
Poor Service. Waiter took forever to take our order, then took forever to bring it back out. When it came out though, it was very good. I don't plan to go back b/c the service was soo poorI would consider going back for the food quality with that service if the price would go down about $15-30 a person. Treating the customer good is the NO. 1 thing that service industries need to do to succeed. They have lost mine and my wife's business just for hiring such low service.

Slow and haughty
My family just dined at Josie's. The waiter rapidly took our drink orders and then our food order. Then, we were ignored for over an hour. Our drinks went dry, we were not brought any bread, and the waiter hustled past any number of times without checking on us or making eye contact. I tried to flag him down several times. I suppose if I had shouted at him, he might have come over. The food was finally delivered (well over an hour after we ordered, on a Monday night), as was acceptable but not of high quality. My wife's macadamia-crusted chicken breast was over-cooked and dry, and my son's ribeye steak, ordered medium, was extremely rare. The food was delivered by a kitchen staff member, n0t by the waiter, who never checked on us or refreshed our drinks. We succeeded in getting our checks by asking the hostess to find our waiter for us.

Ordering Delivery Over the Phone
Love Josie's except that when you call the main number for delivery they make you call a different number for delivery (versus just transferring you) and then when you finally get through to the delivery line, it is answered as if they don't know why you are calling that number. This is then topped off with the worst part of making you wait on hold forever. I don't claim to be a restaurateur and know they have several locations (i.e., they should know what they are doing), but if someone from Josie's sees my review can you please look into a more efficient process for us to order delivery over the phone.
