We went for brunch a couple of times. The first time the kitchen outright forgot about our order- after 25-30 minutes the server came with an embarrassed look and apologized. There were only 3-4 other parties in the place at the time too. The second time there was an obvious "I don't want to be here" attitude with the server (different person). We gave it a second chance, and they whiffed. We haven't been back since.

We go here regularly - the food is consistently very good and there are great options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. I have brought several friends (and family members) here and everyone always likes it. I have tried many things on the menu, and they are consistently very good. I love the sesame crusted tuna, macadamia chicken salad, lentil loaf, stir-fry, and many others. Their juices are great too - especially tasty in their cocktails.

first review I've done but I felt the need to shout to the rafters regarding my experiences with Josie's. I tried it on a whim and now order dinner at least once a week. Service via phone is always good, often take their reccommendations which only enhance dining experience. Great vegetarian options. The lemon ice cream pie is a wonderful choice if you feel the need to splurge. The only thing I've tried and didn't love was the 'unfried' rice, which I found a bit greasy. Like that the portions aren't 'supersized'-- it's good not to be! It's not diner prices, but you also don't want diner quality, so it's worth the money.

Overpriced for what it is. Average Sandwiches that was not special enough for the $15.00 price. Burrito that was okay but nothing special. The bread for the sandwiches were over toasted and it made the bread hard to bite into, they forget the avocado on my daughters sandwich and it took forever for them to bring it and automatically put gobs of mayo on her chicken breast sandwich with out it stating so on the menu. Just okay, no reason to go back again. Sweet waitress.

I just went there yesterday and had a great turkey meatloaf and apple pie. I would suggest this place for someone who is trying to eat healthy and have a nice meal out. I am tring to stay good when I am eating out and would suggest this place for anyone tring to do the same.

First impressions are hard to fix. I was by myself. The place was nearly empty. A lot of servers were walking by my table barely even aknowledging my existence. After 10 minutes someone finally took my order. My waiter was very friendly but when I wanted to hurry up, get dessert and leave (I was already there for an hour and 1/2), I saw him talking to another server for 15 minutes. He apologized and said that he was busy with "another party". Yeah. The food however was very good. The butternut squash soup was silky, sweet and yummy (it can use without the pesto though- I do not get how it goes with the sweetness of the squash). The macadamia nut crusted chicken salad had a pretty presentation. When I mixed the chicken with the avacodo, greens, orzo, mango and hearts of palm it was very tasty (needed a tad more dressing). The only desserts in the prix fixe were icecream (blueberry soy or cinnamon)- I went with the chocolate pie for an extra 2 dollars- it was nice, not to swoon over. What was swoon worthy was the bread- YUM. The whole grain and the corn were phenomenal. They also give you a squash spread but I'm sure you can ask for butter or oil. Nice tea selection also. Overall I had a good experience but for the price the wait staff should be more attentive.

I went to Josie's with my new girlfriend, she is a vegetarian, and I was very pessimistic with her choice to go here: considering I am true carnivore. I was very happy to see that there menu included one on the best cheeseburgers I have ever had. The burger was large enough to satisfy my well know hunger and this is was very surprising considering I have been known to eat very large quantities. My biggest surprise was out wine list. I had a glass of Calara Pinot Noir single vineyard. This was a steal at $15 a glass considering I paid $115 for the bottle at a steak house 2 weeks before. Overall I will happy go back and my girlfriend will like me more!
