Good food / average service
Food is good, so are pastries. Only con is the cleanliness of the space and they seem not to have busboys so empty tables stay filled with dishes from the previous customer as long as the waiter is busy serving you.

Charming
Owned by French people, they attempt to recreate the French cafe in Tribeca. Really great pastries - the croissants are to die for, the macaroons are delicious. The crepes are good and I love their goat cheese salad (as you can tell, I live close by and go there often!) The serivce is slowish, this is not a quick experience, but if you have some time, this is a great place to linger, especially in the summer when you sit outside.
