We went here after seeing War Horse. I wanted to try another restaurant, but my hubby has eaten here before and raved about it. The place was not busy, we chose to seat inside because it was too hot outside, our table near the windows and next to a bithday party celebration that was a bit too loud, and was just as hot, no air circulating. I asked the Maitre to up the AC, it was so unconfortable there, he said he did, but I did not notice any changes. We waited for our meal, my fish was not good, nothing special, lacked flavor. Our waitress was very nice, but the Maitre just did not care, we left right after dinner, I could not seat there any longer. The area has many great restaurants that were, full or almost full, this one was not.The Maitre d was so uncaring that next time we are at Lincoln Center we will not come to this restaurant.

Terribly disappointing to see only one Vegetarian Option on the menu... And such a predictable one.... Ricotta stuffed pasta.... How uninspiring! Have arranged to meet friends there and when I rang to ask if there were any specials or additions to what is posted on Menu pages, was simply told, "we could do you a plate of vegetables"! When I said it was rather disappointing, he hung up on me!

We've been here any number of times before shows at Lincoln Center or after the movies. We've always been pleased and prices are close to reasonable. Even the bread is terrific.

So this is definitely a nice restaurant in a nice area with probably the best brunch deal I have seen yet. I got a Bloody Mary fruit bowl, a huge salad with grilled chicken and a coffee for 20 Dollars. I dont think that can possible be beat! If you're in the area on a sat or sun definitely try this one. I wish there were more reasonable places like this in nyc!

I highly recommend Josephina's. I have come for dinner several times. Today my prix fixe $20 Sunday brunch was fresh fruit salad, a bloody Mary, filet mignon and caesar's salad and coffee. All were beautifully prepared and delicious. The waitress couldn't have been nicer .

we live in the neighborhood and wanted to check it out. huge mistake. this was probably one of the worst meals i have had on the upper west side. the food - including the bread - was not good! the menu options were not great, and i thought it would be safe with a pasta dish, but it was bland watery and just unappetizing. for the amounts they chargem you should at least have edible pasta and a decent piece of bread in the bread basket. not worth it at all. extremely disappointing!
