I'm confused as to why this place has such a good reputation? That was the blandest pizza I've ever had in my life. I had to salt it. I've never had to salt my pizza before! It wasn't bad, it was just tasteless. The crust was good, I'll give them that. But the cheese! Definitely disappointing pizza. And the calimari was not good. Tasted like straight up fried egg. I don't even understand how one does that to calimari.

Yes, they will soon be opening a John's in Jersey. The siblings who own the chain (there is a Johns downtown and one uptown also) are breaking up and not on speaking terms. I've heard the sister is about to open a new Johns in Jersey.

Family and I ate at Johns, everything was great, good appetisers (had cheesy garlic loaf, brushcetta), pizza was great (delicious italian sausage), service was good even though the place was packed. Get there early or you'll be waiting a while for a table, we got around 5p and didn't wait for table, but as we were leaving saw the place packed with people waiting to be seated, either way its well worth it, judge for yourself.

thats right , I say hurray for this place, wish they would open one in Jersey, they would put all the stores in my area out of business. Great sauce and cheese.

Was going to see Phantom with my boyfriend across the street and we were starving so went into John's. We are from Jersey and when we were done eating, we actually contimplated how much it would cost to have a pizza delivered!! haha. Best pizza I have had in the city. Really really good. Service at the bar was great and prices were too. Definitely cant wait to go back.
