    What a disappointment!

"35 minutes" turned into an hour, wet box, cold pizza and burnt cheese! calamari arrives oily and soggy due to improper packaging. John's pizza used to be the best, now I save it for last!

    Don't bother with delivery

Don't bother with delivery. I've tried a couple times and even when its not cold or slow, it's not that good. This isn't the kind of pizza that survives delivery very well. If your going to dine in-house though, it's pretty good stuff.

Poor pizza! Poor delivery experience :(

I love pizza and this place sucked. I have had John's Pizza in the West Village a long time ago and remember it being really good but this place did not compare in any way. When ordering the lady on phone was nice enough. I ordered a plain pie, with a caesar's salad and fried calamari which she highly recommended ~ how could they screw up all 3? Delivery was prompt enough but the pizza was cold, so much so that the cheese was thick and solid and not very good at that. The crust was also not very impressive, soggy in some places and overcooked in others. The fired calamari was soggy versus crispy and overall nothing special and the caesar's salad was drenched in its dressing making it pretty unappetizing. The prices were reasonable but the food quality pretty poor. I definitely would not order from this place again. This was a big disappointment.

Great Pizza and add another phone line please

As I always order from Johns I am somewhat disappointed with there phone manners. I was put on hold for over 10 minutes and no one got back to me. I hung up called back and then got there fax machine. I have a suggestion- Get another phone line if you are going to have delivery. Also, get someone nicer on the phone. Yes I am a customer

    Excellent Pies

A typical pizza place, minus the fact you can't get slices. The pizza is definetly made fresh and came out pipping hot. Although I was starving, waiting for the pie was worth it.

Awesome- Best Pie In The Area

I order from a couple of pizzerias in the area and tonight I tried Johns again. I have to say it was the best pie that I have ever had in the area. Try the petes-a-rolls also they are so good and made with quality sausage. Do yourself a favor and try Johns you will not be disappointed.

    John's is back

I had taken a hiatus from john's as a result of soggyness, however the last 5 times i have ordered it has been top notch. CRISPY. DELICIOUS. best pizza around.
