i'm a vegetarian but i can still get a good meal here, the price is great and so is the food, the staff is super friendly although they keep putting butter on my toast even tho i ask them not too, the diner itself is a nice hang, just people from the neighborhood, all kinds of people, my only wish is that they were open a little later.

Eggs, homefries, toast and a bottomless cup of coffee for 5 dollars with tip, what else do you want. Also the blt is crunchy and delicious. Service is a friendly smiley group who seem to know a lot of people who come in.

the best lemonade ever ... period. ive had breakfast here a few times and the food is greasy, good and cheap. a good value for greasy, diner, hang-over food.

If you are hungry early on a Sunday morning & they discharged you from the house of detention w/out breakfast try John's. ( Ask if they have anything pre-packaged.) But please don't hang around asking passerbys for change...

John's is the best around the area with great prices and wonderful food i stopped eating Breakfast everywhere else ! I dont eat pork, so i love the fact that they offer turkey and beef choices. The cheeseburger deluxe is a great value at 4.25 and it fills you up.

When you wake up hung over and need something to fill that belly, this is the perfect place.

They have the best bacon and egg on a roll in the neighborhood. Much better than Bergen Bagel. And beats out Mike's or the Pratt Coffee Shop.
