I was trying to order over the phone and the man that I was talking to was extremely rude. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and then I asked him for the price of a breakfast sandwich without eggs and he sighed and then snapped at me, "CAN YOU HURRY UP PLEASE? We are extremely busy, can't you tell?!?!" I am appalled. If I were standing in line at the restaurant, that man wouldn't dare say that to me. But if I'm over the phone, suddenly I'm less of a person. I told the man, "No, not with that attitude. Cancel my order." and hung up. I will NEVER order from here again. They messed up my last order and their food isn't anything special anyways.

i'm a vegetarian but i can still get a good meal here, the price is great and so is the food, the staff is super friendly although they keep putting butter on my toast even tho i ask them not too, the diner itself is a nice hang, just people from the neighborhood, all kinds of people, my only wish is that they were open a little later.

Eggs, homefries, toast and a bottomless cup of coffee for 5 dollars with tip, what else do you want. Also the blt is crunchy and delicious. Service is a friendly smiley group who seem to know a lot of people who come in.

If you are hungry early on a Sunday morning & they discharged you from the house of detention w/out breakfast try John's. ( Ask if they have anything pre-packaged.) But please don't hang around asking passerbys for change...
