Great food, slow service
If you want to have lunch at a low key spot, with good food, this is your place. The food is pretty good, just be prepared to wait. The prices are different, you should roughly add 2 dollars to every item. You can also play pool while you wait. The next time I go there I'll give myself more time.

solid and reliable
they do deliver- saw some deliveries going out while I ate at the bar tonight. Super staff, good food. The cheese fries come highly recommended!

The Jewel of Downtown
Greatest bar downtown. Great Food, Great Bartenders, Great atmosphere. $10 all you can drink on Thursdays you cant beat. Kind of like ''cheers'' in the respect to ''sometimes you want to go where everbody knows your name''

best bar downtown..
We went to John St Bar with a large group.Everyone had a great time.The food and service were excellent.There was something for everyone to do(pool,darts,video games,or just watch tv on one of the big screens).The drink specials are the best that I have seen in the city.If you visit downtown you must visit this place.....Two thumbs up!
